Yeah, I totally agree.
I'm not looking on that list... ok, now you reminded me of it. I shouldn't though. I'm fighting so hard to stay calm and patient and not freak out. Until now - except for some little tears of disappointment yesterday - it worked.

Sighs.

I don't think there's any reason to freak out yet!!  It looks like you're just hitting your timeline estimate.  I know it's hard when others have gotten theirs early though.  Hang in there.  It'll be coming soon!

I called USCIS about my case sent march 7 received march 10 and the lady said the case is pending for approval or denial. What does that mean? That we are just waiting for a decision? How long? Ugh i am nervous and getting weary.

She also said that their office is delayed and only processing for january 2017. Which is weird..

and I asked how come other March filers received theirs already, and she said it is because every case is different. Just wait for a couple more months...

Oh yeah of course, you're a sweet kind of stalker. Just like me. We rock! :D:D

"sweet kind of stalker" hahaha! That made me giggle.

HoLa marchiesss... always been a Lurker Here..😬 just wondering, who among the March filers got Their NoA2, with the same dates the Vj estimated? 😊😊😬😬

BAHAHAHAAA

Just kidding, But I've watched my VJ estimated approval date slide to and fro. (Today it is back out of July :) )  Also, I see other similar Rcv & NOA1 timelines with different estimated approval dates, so I don't know, but the way it slides, it is probably going to be fairly accurate where your date will be, not withstanding specific case issues at uscis

Ah seriously! I read on the FB group a week or two ago that someone from APRIL got approved and it wasn't an expedite request. It broke my heart a little bit. Even though it's cool for them to get approved I can't help but want to scream, "OMG...NOT FAIR!!!! :(" haha

They are just giving you the standard reply. Technically if your case is received, it is pending a decision. Which means it will either be approved, denied (highly unlikely) or returned with a request for additional evidence (RFE). So yes, it's just waiting for a decision. Most people are getting approvals within 90-120 days after their application being received. Today is exactly 3 months from my received date (3/28) and I'm not estimated by VJ to get an approval until at least July 5th but I'm expecting it to be closer to 120 days at least just based on experience from the previous month filers.

The Jan'17 date is just their standard guideline of processing times. It means that as of the date reported, there are no cases pending that are older than January 15th. But that doesn't mean that they aren't working on cases after that date because tons of February filers were approved and many March filers have been approved in the last few weeks.

It's highly doubtful that you will have to wait a couple more months. Maybe one more month at most, but you should expect to get an update on your case within the next couple of weeks. Unfortunately until the USCIS processing date has passed your filing date there's not much you can do other than wait for an answer via letter sent in the mail.

Yes. I am never angry at the person who gets approved though. I focus my rage on every part of the system all the way to the top that results in this cluster f.

I feel you!  I'm already checking the mail box every day with a sort of pathetic hopefulness. I so want to be on the early side of things but the way the system works is painful!

Same here.  I'm always really happy for everyone who gets an approval because they're going through the same thing.  I just wish USCIS could be a tad more streamline...

They work in a pyramid, which is unusual, so perhaps that vibe rubs off on their workflow? Grasping at straws here.

I've looked at Igor some, it doesn't seem to provide much help to me, Is it based off of VJ user submitted data? or USCIS data?

As far as VJ data, always consider the info is user submitted and I really think there are some pranks going on.  Recently I saw a timeline that they reported an approval that day, well before the normal waiting times.  The info was updated in the early hours of the morning, well before mail delivery on the East coast, and certainly hours and hours before CSC even opened for business.  Checking the USCIS for any approvals that date - I found none on that date........

So, find a number that you are comfortable with and discount those wrong cases, and just go with the flow.  Sure, many of the March filers have approval, but a great many more do not have an approval yet.

Nah, I'm not freaking out at all. It was just yesterday, because someone with exactly our received/notice date was approved, and I was like OH PLEASE PLEASE :)
I'm fine... something will come, sooner or later and I'm happy from the bottom of my heart for every person on here who is approved! :)
There's no need to be jealous or grumps on others, and no need to flip - at least not yet. :)

Boah, now I did look at the Igor's list. There's a JUNE filer with NOA2 already.
Hard to believe, that'd even be fast for expedited case. Either a miracle, or a typo :)
