I'm a February filer....and at day 142. I have called twice (they won't let me past to get to a tier 2) and I have contacted my congressman  (who said they would not inquire about my petition until August).

Just a FYI for those of you still waiting.

Hello everyone  march filers here, been following you guys for months already, happy to see you get approved and we all share the agony and excitement waiting the Noa2 everyday. We got our NOA 1 on march 20th, and as we happily anticipate to recieve our NOA 2 , we received this instead

 

"On June 27, 2017, we updated your name for your Form I-129F, Petition for Fiance(E), Receipt Number *********** "

 

We are not sure what to say or think as i havent read this as a topic here (or did i just overlooked it) we are so nervous right now, we do hope its not a big big problem:( can anyone answer what the letter means? Thank you so much hoping for a reply soon

I wouldn't be worried, Clearly, your case is being worked on.  I'm reasonably sure it is just a clerical / administrative action that has little consequence.

How did you receive this notice? Snail Mail? or Electronic Txt Email? or did you see it on the uscis website?

I totally understand!

Grahhh... but so strange. IF my NOA2 comes this week, I could theoretically be going to the medical in July still... then interview in August and still fly in September.
There's still hope for it to work.
My birthday is August 17th, and I was hoping to have the interview around that date. 
Actually I should try to schedule it ON that date, so they have to be mercyful. Haha!
