Where in Germany is his brother located?
If you ever need any tourist advice... never hesitate to ask! :)

I don't remember exactly, I keep forgetting to ask him again. I will have to ask him again tonight. I will for sure take any tourist advise I can get.  I actually have a good friend in Babenhausen that I will get to visit as well!

Because of the medical. I have 3 choices of where to go Toronto, Montreal or Vancouver. I live in Manitoba so either way I pay a flight and a stay. Its actually about the same for me to fly have my medical and stay a week pick it up and have my interview which has to be done in Montreal. Ok ok I have nothing to complain about because I saw my fiance recently I get that. I am done. Hope you all get your NOA2's soon. I think I will just close down here. Thanks all for listening to me and have a great life with your loves. :)

Don't worry hun, right now it seems so discouraging and difficult but soon you will be with your love and this will all be just a distant memory! Try to think about 1 year ago and how at the time a year later seemed soooo far away, but it actually goes by really fast. My grandmother used to always tell me one day I would regret always wishing for time to pass. I try to think about that through this process. We want time to go faster because we have things to look forward to, but we should really be appreciating every single moment of every day.

Try to see the beauty in the fact that you love someone so much to be going through this difficult process and that you have a reason to be sad/frustrated/angry/etc. Whenever I get sad I turn it around into happiness about the fact that I love someone enough to be this sad and to miss them so much. The only way to get through this is to stay positive and find the silver lining in everything. Soon your approval will be here and you will be on to the next stage of your life looking forward to something else down the road. Try to be grateful for how strong your relationship will be for having gone through this process. And how strong you as an individual have become for going through this process.

I know it's so much easier said than done; I'm guilty of it myself some days. I get really down about being away from my fiance and often feel like it isn't "fair." But in reality, I am so lucky to have found a love this incredible that its worth going through such a difficult process. I remind myself of that every time I'm feeling frustrated or sad and it makes it a little bit easier to deal with the time being away from each other.  So many people go their entire lives wishing for a love like the one I have found. Sure, it sucks that we have to wait this long and go through a tedious process just to be together, but in the end we WILL be together and have a beautiful life together. How can I possibly be sad when I think about that? ;)

Anyway, stay strong! We need all the March whiners around to get us all through this together!!

The Dalai Lama, when asked what surprised him most about humanity, answered "Man.... Because he sacrifices his health in order to make money. Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health. And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present; the result being that he does not live in the present or the future; he lives as if he is never going to die, and then dies having never really lived."

Completely random, but I went to Germany last year and I still cannot stop thinking about the food. OMG. Everything was so good. I would seriously do anything to find German potato salad here even close to as good as the one I had while in Germany. :P
