Greetings are there any NOA2/ approvals from the California service center?? Or Nigerian Approvals. I have called twice just emailed the California service center and even when I ask to talk to tier 2 they give me the same information as the internet. I am just curious why do they say the cases are worked on in order ... Lies I tell you lies ... Any suggestions for my next step??

Hello, My case was routed California service center.  I'm a Nigerian but currently residing in Senegal.  My  file was sent on  4th of March, my Case was received on 7th of March.  I received  my NOA1 11th March. I'm still waiting for my NOA2. Just hang, I believe  we will hear good news soon .

I called NVC tonight ... our case was entered into the computer today, so we have a Case # with the State Dept. now!  (NOA2 Date 6/10/17)  I'm not sure if that's the "receive" date or not, but it's what I'm using until I learn otherwise!

Congrats!!! Where are you from? I mean the beneficiary? I wonder if we can schedule an appointment for Medical once we had the case number and invoice id. We haven't received the email letter from NVC yet but my fiancé just called them this morning and they just received our case few days ago.

My fiance is from the Dominican Republic.  The embassy there uses a website (www.ustraveldocs.com) to process the DS160 application online, along with the necessary payment.  I was able to complete both a few days ago, prior to even having a case number from NVC.  Once payment is complete, that website also allows us to schedule the interview, which is available as soon as July 11th, but I haven't booked it yet because I'm sure the embassy needs some time to receive and review the case.  I've just emailed the embassy to get some clarification on when it's appropriate for me to proceed with scheduling the appt.  I think some of this may be unique to each embassy.  In our case, we can proceed with medical as soon as we have the appointment confirmed.

The Noticed Date (later one) is the one written on the NOA1; the receive date is the one that you can see if you track your case online!

Thank you, that's what I thought. I have no idea what the recieved date is then. :D guys I'm honestly so overwhelmed with the informations now. I used to feel like I have it figured out but after reading the thread I feel clueless again. :D so I'm really sorry if I ask stupid questions but this whole process is making me little unstable :D. So....with all of you calling NVS for your number...is that something the petitioner should do? They won't just send it to you? Thank you all so much in advance

@DalilaAdnan I've seen it in other threads that people were requested to send something that they definitely sumbitted with their petition, so another joy of dealing with USCIS is that they apparently can lose some papers. I agree with those who recommended sending copies of passport stamps (those seem to be the most reliable because they are the most official), but you can also resubmit your tickets, photos and what not, just make sure you have everything that is listed in your RFE even if you know you sent it before. Good luck!
