Just to be clear, that date range on our timeline is an average window based on data submitted by the VJ community. It is no way means you will get approved in that range, unfortunately. I hope everyone who is waiting gets approved very soon regardless.

Well ok I couldn't stay away. Today is my last day with my fiancé. We went to his bank earlier and added me to his account and to his safety deposit box. The guy said yep I can take your Canadian id and when you guys get married and you get your ssn just come back and update.

Tonight we are going to his friends house for dinner.

I really should pack my bag since I fly out tomorrow at 9:50am. I just don't wanna. :(

This is not a subjective thing. We can look at the numbers. Looks like the average is 105 days. That's average. Not all will be average, some will get approved quicker or slower.

Personally, I think the USCIS is in the stone age. These things could technically be approved in days, not months.

Im so happy - received the RFE letter in the mail today.

what was missing is Beneficiarys Intent to marry

So wanted to ask this awesome group of filers on how to handle this.

She is in the phils, does not have a computer.

Do you guys think a hand written letter from her ?

She can take picture of it with her phone , send to me via text and I print out.

Do you think that would be sufficient?

It states - Evidence of the benefiarys intent to marry may be a statement from the beneficiary, wedding preperations or other evidence that establishes her intent to marry.

Believe me I dont want to screw this up.

Thanks for any suggestions.

- Cant wait for her to wake up to tell her the good news that its an easy fix to move forward..

We were concerned it could be other timely documentation.

Thank you all - Steve

No. She can go to an internet shop and type it and print.. then she can sign in.. and ask someone from the shop to scan it so she can send it to you via email :)) Or you can just send the file to her via email and she can just print it out in the internet shop, sign it and scan then send back the file to you. You can't take a picture of it and print it. Goodluck 😊

USCIS LIKE FRSH SIGNATURE, IF I WERE YOU I DIDNT TAKE THE RISK TO BE DENIED BECAUSE THE SIGNATURE, ONCE YOU SEND YOU RFE IF ISNT GOOD THEY WONT SEND YOU A NEW RFE , THEY WILL DENY IF ISNT GOOD WHAT THEY GOT.

SO JUST BE SURE THAT SHE SEND YOU A ORIGINAL SIGNATURE BY FEDEX OR OTHER MAIL SERVICE.

I agreed, they  need all original. Please have her go to a place where she can type it, sign and mail it.

Yep, Ditto.  A wet signature is what I would submit.  If you have wedding plans some way documented, you might send that also, but an original signed letter of intent would be my primary evidence, followed up with a snippet of wedding plans, or a receipt for a gown, or conversation with clergy or courthouse for wedding plans.  Remember this is your chance to correct what is needed to approve you.  If you don't satisfy their needs, they have no choice but to deny.

Unfortunately, sending an envelope speedily from PH to you is going to be about $80,

Good Luck!
