And I know! I'm dreading the summer time there, specially being from the North coast of Spain, where it's a rare occurrence when temperature rises above 30C. I've always visited in January-March... And I already got to experience heat one day that got me worried, lol. I'm hoping for a dry heat I can manage, because here we get very humid weather that makes high temperature seems worse than it really should feel.

Oh well... I guess I'll get to find out next year

Funny how as the number of days increases, so does the frequency of thinking of this petition……  And lurking on here turns to posting lol.  Today is 100 days from our “Receive” date.  A fitting end to close of business on a Friday afternoon.  Really Happy for the NOA2's that were discovered in the mailboxes this week, Showing up all unannounced lol.  Too bad we all didn't get one!

I suppose we are close, but then again, there are some January and February and a lot of March filers who arrived at a hundred days and had the same thoughts as I do today.

Odd how I now know my case number and can rattle it off as WAC one seventy nine oh two five blanket blank blank…. Odd how the USCIS site goes down in the middle of all this and we are all blindly guessing what and when and how……  I’m just glad the site doesn’t have a glitch with false news, like ‘lost file’ or ‘your handler has taken a 3 month sabbatical in the Sierra Nevadas' to learn the meaning of a whisper and will get to you on their return’ or ‘Your name is Al Capone and is associated with many crime families and this is gonna be a while’…… Yeah, I’m thankful that as similar cases come out and get reported as approved that there is still good hope.  Just so y’all know, we are all in my prayers for good news, good and soon! Hang in there!!!!

It's a very dry heat here. Just a small breeze can help a ton, but when it's 100+ with no breeze, it's pretty miserable. We hit 99 this week on a day with no wind, and it sucked. Sometimes I have to remind myself that I grew up in Las Vegas, and the average summer there was much worse than most places in Utah.

The lovely thing about getting the NOA2 in the snail mail is that can happen on a Saturday too... So Sunday is our only blank day now

Hmmm, interesting. I wonder if they use the FBI NICS system for the US citizen. It only take about 5 minutes on the phone when I get checked for a firearms purchase.

There was some guy on here that knew what system they use, he works for the government, he told us. He said that when they run the check on him and his coworkers, some of them get results back in a few days, others weeks or months.

Yep, it's what my fiance says too. But he's all "it's ok, we have the air conditioning"... And because I'm a Northern girl and my dad is kind of obsessed with how expensive is electricity here, I am like "ok, I can turn it off when you are not at home to save some money" 😝

I definitely have to change my thinking, lol. Besides, our cat loves his air conditioning.

In that case, it might be the same system they use to check contractors. I've been through that one before too. I've seen that one take same time.

My friend told me your fiancé needs to email the website and ask for a certification or something like that to prove that it's not belong to IMBR :))) the website will email you and then you need to print it out.. Maybe they also need a detailed explanation how you two met on that website. Goodluck!

Here is a thought for everyone to think about =)
From what I have noticed, and it seems to be a trend, is that when people feel like they have been waiting sooo long that they are "getting worried", those are the ones that it seems are getting NOA2's... because it ACTUALLY is taking longer since it comes via snail mail. I would try to not stress too much because it could just be that your NOA2 is on its way!
