I'm still confused by if everyone is going by received date or notice date for NOA1.  VJ says notice date for the timeline?

yeah it still confuses me also. I'm going off the received date since when the March scans were run by someone that's the date which mine showed under (March 28th). Technically my notice date is April 3rd or 4th I think but on my case status it references the received date of 3/28 so I've been going with that one.

The Dalai Lama, when asked what surprised him most about humanity, answered "Man.... Because he sacrifices his health in order to make money. Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health. And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present; the result being that he does not live in the present or the future; he lives as if he is never going to die, and then dies having never really lived."

That's what I've been thinking.  The case status shows mine as 3/31 but my notice date on my NOA1 hard copy is 4/5.  I'd obviously prefer 3/31! but I'm more wondering which I should have on my timeline so it helps accuracy for everyone.

VJ takes the notice date, but on the USCIS page is the received date in use as it seems. If you track your case there, it shows.

Fortunately they're not too far apart. 5 days in my case. Otherwise I'd go nuts.

Did you or anyone here sign up for email/text alert when your status changes? If so did you receive an email first or did the letter in the mail come first.

I have an NOA1 date of March 20 and I'm super anxious to hear back about our NOA2 aswell.

I wasn't sure if we would hear via email/text or just by receiving a letter.

By the way Congrats!!!

Hi everyone. My fiance got mail today regarding our rfe. I thought we missed a box but he told me he put a check mark in the box. So our rfe reason is about how we met in filipinocupid which is a dating site. I havent seen the paper yet, but he told me it's about that, proof that it's not a marriage broker or something. Does anyone have the same situation? We met like 3 times already since march, and he stayed with me for 4 months. Does the terms and condition regarding the website enough to send them proof that its not imbr? Thank you.

It seems they only send e-notifications for RFE. The tracker is still broken.
We will all have to wait for hardcopy as it seems.
