Hello fellow RFE, and zdravo fellow Balkan. :) Hopefully it'll be an easy fix for you guys. Withing for the RFE to arrive via mail is the worst, we got ours 8 days after the email notification. Best of luck!

hey

I'm expecting an RFE as my fiancé forgot to post his birth certificate.

May I ask how long did it take after you sent the RFE? also do they email the beneficiary or the petitioner?

Hi. They send an email to the petitioner as the petitioner is the one applying on behalf of the beneficiary. We got an email notification on June 9. We got the letter via mail on June 17. They received our response on June 21 so at this point we are patiently waiting on their decision. From what I've read, it can take anywhere from a week to a couple of months. Good luck to you!

I Can't believe this! :)) wether it's a RFE letter, I'll still be thankful!! But a big part of me is hoping that hopefully it's the NOA2 letter! :)) I couldn't be any happier rigjt now.. i checked my case tracker and it's still CASE RECEIVED 😊

Well. I couldn't help but to feel that if it had been just the 2 of us, I don't know, I just feel like it would have been so great for us... not that I don't appreciate my family wanting to share it with us... and also, our 2 week honeymoon... not so much a honeymoon for the 2 of us, but as a family vacation now  lol is it bad that I wanted it to be just us??

Don't worry, it's not bad or mean... I feel the same way too. I am happy with the small court wedding, and if it was just the two of us, that would be ok for me. Then some of Gary's coworkers kind of invited themselves, lol... And I still don't know, but I think his family, that is currently living in Las Vegas, so quite close, might want to come. I would rather them not to come, however selfish that might sound, because I get along well with Gary's mom, but she has a way to be a bit bossy... so with that and the fact my family is not going to be there, I could really skip that part :P But oh well, I won't say don't come if they want to...

Nah, I don't think it's bad!
I wouldn't mind a "2 of us" thing either. If we'd have gone to Denmark it'd have been the same thing. Actually I like that more.
Since everything is so unclear, and since it's for sure that none of my friends or family can be around I'm good with whatever. If we just go to the courthouse to sign, it's ok as well.

I'm not girly enough to wish for a princess wedding with tons of people, I don't like to be in the center of attention, he likes that even less... so I guess we might be around 10 people, and that's fine.
