Congratulations @NicoAndNelle @ChicagoPinoy518 @conan1234! One step closer for you guys!

@Rev we've decided to have a courthouse wedding but still talking about the reception. I had my tea-length chiffon dress tailor-made since we're just opting for a simple wedding and reception in the US. Then we're planning to have a church wedding and celebration when we go back to my home country, that's where I'll wear a wedding gown :)

not to dampen your spirit, but everything depends upon the discretion of the consul. some don't get approved even with properties and all.  some gets approved even without anything to prove.  some said that attending a wedding, especially their kid's wedding, gets them through without further questions, (maybe send them your wedding invitation for proof).  congratulations and have a wonderful wonderful wedding! :):):)

Yes you are absolutely correct. Thank you so much for replying. I wish you all the best as well😊😊😊

Hello..

Me  again :P

Question for those moving to thee  US with small kids.

I have a letter of Concent for  kids traveling without one of there parents  from the dutch embassy printed out and filled in by the kids  dad.

Signed by him and everything..

Now some tell me  thats  not  enough?  What else  has to be  done  with  the  letter??? taken to police  or  something?

Another question.. im trying to add up the  costs..

Does anyone  know what the  AOS cost are for  kids?  Because i saw i have to  apply  separately for  each kid?  They cant be on my  AOS  once in the  US?

As for the letter, you should check your embassy requirements. My letter is notarized, and I also have a copy of my ex-husband's passport.

As for the AOS, you do apply separately for each kid, and for their age the fee is $750 each.

Those of you having a courthouse wedding or something similarly small, what do you plan to wear?  I can't decide if I actually want to buy a wedding dress or just something classy and nice.  I kind of want to wear a wedding dress for my fiance but the thought of strolling up to the courthouse in one makes me feel a bit

Is it an option to get married somewhere else other than the courthouse? That way you can wear the wedding dress and feel more at ease in it. Are you going to have a reception? If so what kind of place is that going to be? Maybe you could do both at the same place? You are lucky that the weather doesn't get too terrible in Arizona and could opt for an outdoors wedding. I can't do that here cuz the weather here will be cold and rainy and/or rainy or snowing, but that would be my 110% 1st choice. I can't find a place where I can do both that I am happy with so I decided to get married in FL where our honeymoon is going to be so we can get married on the beach =)

Soooo after nagging my fiance all week(beneficiary here) to check the mail. He got home today and yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayy our NOA2 was there :jest::D:D:D:D:D :dancing::dance:Case tracker still says received March 10th. Our NOA1 was March 15th.

And yes the feeling or receiving this is as amazing as you think it is. Such a sense of relief though from the start I have been and still am worrying about the INTERVIEW more than anything. But so glad to see things moving forward. Hope each and everyone one of us gets approved.

Ohhhh so great!!! Congratulations! I'm so happy for you!! :D:D:D

It looks like the tracker went back to only showing RFE. Cause 21st of June had approvals, 22nd does only show RFE.

For us it's still optional.
Either it will be a courthouse wedding, or something little at the beach, or the giant wheel in Las Vegas.
I got a classy white dress, nothing big, since it'd have to be good for 3 occasions - AND it has to be put on a plane. :)

Maybe I sneak over to David's Bridal once I'm there, but I'm fine with this solution, since we won't have a big wedding!

Mine was supposed to be just be and my F, but when my sister found out, she was like... me and the girls are coming (she has 2 daughters and they live in TX so it's not as far as for them to travel to FL then to come to WA lol) then her daughters bf and her other daughters toddler son will be there, my parents will probably come, and my other sister and her family have now been invited so she doesn't feel left out, but it may not be an option that they can come since there is 4 of them and it would be more costly for them... so, still semi small, but, not just the two of us which I have mixed feelings about  lol

I just used Paint to open a photo I like, saved it as a NEW file, and shrank it down 33 or 50% at a time until the file's size (mouse hover over file or right click and select properties to see) are within acceptable parameters for the website.

Ok thanks
