Those of you having a courthouse wedding or something similarly small, what do you plan to wear?  I can't decide if I actually want to buy a wedding dress or just something classy and nice.  I kind of want to wear a wedding dress for my fiance but the thought of strolling up to the courthouse in one makes me feel a bit

I am so losing my mind over here... 123 days no NOA2 yet... it looks like I have seen some people who has a date after mine that has received theirs at the same service center. NO RFE nothing ... When I call they just give me the info on the internet. The California Service center is  NOT  on dates sent in on January 15 2017... I have call the NVC and USCIS is there any other place I can call?

Hi KaraChi,  Ask to talk to tier 2 or supervisor when you call USCIS.  hope they'd get you through. :)

Soooo after nagging my fiance all week(beneficiary here) to check the mail. He got home today and yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayy our NOA2 was there :jest::D:D:D:D:D :dancing::dance:Case tracker still says received March 10th. Our NOA1 was March 15th.

And yes the feeling or receiving this is as amazing as you think it is. Such a sense of relief though from the start I have been and still am worrying about the INTERVIEW more than anything. But so glad to see things moving forward. Hope each and everyone one of us gets approved.

congratulations! :) interview will be a breeze! :)

just a suggestion, if you're going to have a second grander wedding, maybe something nice and classy will do for the courthouse.  then a a fantabulous wedding dress on the bigger wedding. :)  but really, wear whatever feels right and wonderful and one that will make you feel more than amazing! :)

For some countries it's not so easy and my country is one of the not so easy ones. Not as hard as Nigeria or Morocco but not as easy as Canada or Germany so until I have this visa in my hand I am going to be worried

Hello ladies and gentlemen. Also March whiner here. Marrying in the US means not having your entire clan and besties in your wedding..which is really sad

But Of course i want my parents to be there. Im their eldest and attending my wedding is a big thing for all of us.My fiance will shoulder  all the expenses for their trip. My parents have business here in Philippines and some properties. Do you think they'll stand a chance in getting a tourist visa? Please enlighten me with your insight. And if you have the same experience please do share. I would really appreciate it. Thank you😊

not to dampen your spirit, but everything depends upon the discretion of the consul. some don't get approved even with properties and all.  some gets approved even without anything to prove.  some said that attending a wedding, especially their kid's wedding, gets them through without further questions, (maybe send them your wedding invitation for proof).  congratulations and have a wonderful wonderful wedding! :):):)
