Does anyone know an easier way to get through FB messages? I'm trying to get to January of this year but there's so many messages and it's so long. I can't get to it and it will take about 3 hours of scrolling.  I've tried it on both my phone and web browser. The search function doesn't seem to work well on the browser and there isn't anything for FB messenger that I can see to search? Anyone have any advice?

Found an easy way  :)) Just use your desktop and go to facebook.. when you're on messenger there's a search messages in there. You only need to put some keywords in there . Then it will scan every messges you had with him since you started talkinh  . It has dates  :)) sorry it's hard to explain :DBut i hopeyou understand whay im saying

You can either use the search function on www.messenger.com or you can download your entire facebook content (100+mb) and then open up the .zip file they give you and in there are chat logs in text format.

I really enjoy reading all the dialogue in here, and have so many fellow filers timelines that I am following - and like so many other 'lurkers', haven't ever been compelled to ask anything.....

Until now....

Was talking to my fiancee tonight, and we have been reviewing the petition....  The question I have is what exactly is my NOA1 date?  I mailed 13th, and got a response on email on 16th that it was accepted.  When I was looking at the NOA1 tonight, I see the Received Date is 3/16/2017 but up in the upper right hand corner, it says Notice Date 3/21/2017.  Soooooo, I'm thinking I am a 3/21 and not a 3/16 like I originally thought.

Not that it matters, but for fellow filers, and the anticipation they likewise endure, accuracy of dates in the timelines seems to help ease the waiting tensions.

OH MY! I figured, haha!! Thanks anyways, I just thought it was worth asking. I think it's worth it. I'll just use my phone for it and take screenshots. So much easier!

That's what we did as well......

You don't sound mean... You sound exactly like me :P Though it's not as much hating phone calls with Gary (that's me actually) but being plankton, and just going with the flow that much that he doesn't pay much attention to the steps of the process

The other day he told me it would be cool if the visa process was like his order from Amazon, arriving a couple of days after ordering. SMH... You have to love him...

Hahaha, believe it or not, I was about to tagg you in my comment, cause I was relying on you being the same, hahaha! :)

You are supposed to use the Notice Date for the Timeline, but everyone seems to go by received date, since that's what the scans used as a reference and probably what determines the order for them to work on cases. Well, not really because they don't work in such an orderly manner, but yeah... 😒
