If we were to get a stamp from our local convenience store to post our package is that okay? Or do we need to go to a post office?

I would take it to the post office and get the signature required delivery with tracking.  Or use FedEx/UPS so that you could monitor tracking.

I am mostly a lurker on these forums so I know that the tracker is supposedly down, so I was very surprised to see that my case was APPROVED.  Today I got a notification from the USCIS app telling me that I was approved, and was shocked because I haven't been expecting anything from the USCIS tracker.  I have had absolutely no communication with USCIS since the NOA1 (no RFEs, name/address changes).  Maybe I was extremely fortunate in this case but be sure to check your trackers and enable notifications on the apps!  I still have yet to receive an email.  I know there are others that have been waiting a lot longer than I have, I hope everyone receives their NOA2s soon.  Here are some pics to show that the tracker apparently works for some of us.  Best of luck to all of us! :)

Because I am super impatient I just tried to call NVC - case not there yet

I'd have bet you'd do that, hehehehe!
Maybe next time - more luck!

Ok, time for silly:
WHAT exactly did you say there? Please quote? lol

I'm the general here for calling and organizing, and Scott hates to make phone calls. So I need extra precise orders for him lol

Well my approval date is the 12th, so 10 days could have been reasonable-ish LOL!

When I called it was a LONG wait, luckily I was just using my office phone and just sat the phone on speaker and kept working.  I definitely will probably use the recommendations I see here next time of calling at 7:00AM or 11:00PM. I called the 603-334-0700 number and I think it was option "2" I selected when I got to the menu options. The lady that finally answered asked for my NVC Case Number.  I just said something like... "I do not have that.  I have my USCIS approved receipt" before I could really finish that sentence she asked for my receipt number. Then she just gave me the generic....we don't have your case in the system and it could take up to 6 weeks to get there.  I just OK thanks for checking! :)  Easy peasy - I will probably try again Friday.

I am the same with my fiance!  I have done about as much as I could for him, but anything that he has do (police records - there are 3 different ones for Peru - ugh!) I had to be super specific on where he needed to go and what to ask for.  That's one way we work well together is that I am probably too organized and he is a "free spirit" so we make each other a happy medium!

Haha, I just told Scott - he's not amused at all. My poor hermit crab!
I'd love to pester them myself, but I don't know if it's cool if a German number calls ^^

Good morning everyone!! I did my morning scan and saw some approved cases! :))) Dated June 21.. All dated JUNE 21!😊 What's funny is that, while doing my scan, no updates for RFEs! All are still dated June 20, 2017. While those approved cases are all dated JUNE 21.. just approvals. No RFEs.. congratulations to those who got an approval already :))

Not sure if USCIS has fixed their system or not, but I keep getting notifications from the USCIS app saying cases have been approved. So far, 2 cases dated March 7th were approved and a March 17th case was approved. So good luck to everyone today and hopefully we'll see a lot more happy faces in here.

You don't sound mean... You sound exactly like me :P Though it's not as much hating phone calls with Gary (that's me actually) but being plankton, and just going with the flow that much that he doesn't pay much attention to the steps of the process

The other day he told me it would be cool if the visa process was like his order from Amazon, arriving a couple of days after ordering. SMH... You have to love him...
