@TearsOfBabylon and @Eric&Olya Just fyi, Texas lockbox is completely different than the Texas Service Center :) Texas lockbox is for us to mail in our petition and that's where all the sorting and scanning of documents as well as generating of NOA1 happen. Texas lockbox also forward petitions to all the service centers such as CSC, TSC and VSC.

Thanks for the hint, but I knew that already.

But Virginia actually belongs to TSC's responsibility according to USCIS, that's why I was asking.

I'm glad we ended up at CSC though! :):)

Yeah someone mentioned in another thread saying that CSC now gets all the I-129Fs. I wonder if they are planning to start transferring them to TSC

Again, congratulations on the long awaited NOA1!!! How do you plan to celebrate after work?

For my I-129F, K-1, AOS, EAD, AP and ROC detailed timelines, please refer to my timeline page :)

ROC filed on December 1, 2020, assigned to SRC, approved within 106 days on February 18, 2021.

My sincerest gratitude to all VJers, especially the late geowrian.

It doesn't apply to i129f petitions anymore. Starting March 25, 2015 uscis stated on their website that all the i129f would be dealt with by csc (there may be a few odd ones here and there being sent to other centers though)

Good morning all

This may or may not be a good idea to mention since it might make some of us more impatient. but........I was browsing through the January filers and I saw someone(Japan) got approved(NOA2) and they had 1RFE. Now it's hard to know just how many petitions they are dealing with but I think it's of course still a positive sign that things may be picking up pace. Who knows!!! .

If I saw the same post, then it is an expedited case because the petitioner is in the military and is going to be deployed.

It would be nice though if they were picking up pace:)

I'm the USC~ I'm not super worried about dress shopping, I'm steadily losing weight and I don't want to deal with alterations and all that when there's at least 6 months until it's needed. I think I'll end up going with a medium or light blue dress, because I've always associated the color blue with him and our relationship.

Congrats on you losing weight! I know how much of a struggle that can be. A blue dress sounds really pretty, and you'll have your something new and something blue :D

Change of subject and maybe not even allowed here, but do any of you petitioners send flowers to your beneficiary? If so who do you buy them through? I send flowers and chocolate every 2 weeks or so and the place I buy them from has only so many options for arrangements. I've bought most of them so I was wanting to find another place for something different.

My gosh.. Can you teach my fiance a thing or two... please???? lol!

No, we will be in Virginia Beach for one year more, then move to whereever! But it's his hometown, and I've been there twice and liked it a lot. His family moved to Utah, and I liked it there as well! :)

I think I found out why the money order doesn't show anything. You have to pay additional for tracking ability. What the heck? :D

Welcome to all new members here at the Anonymous Whiners! :)
Good luck for your packs being delivered quickly! :)

Off to work now; it's early in Germany! :)

I've heard Virginia Beach is nice too, and the water is really clear. Poor Houstonians, our best idea of a beach is Galveston in the gulf of Mexico and the water is so muddy you can't pay me enough to go swimming in it lol. It's bad when I rather pay the $500 roundtrip to go to Cuba and swim in their waters

What?!?! That's not fair.. Extra money for tracking abilities... Anything to make a buck SMH

& Have a great day at work!!

Yesssssss!!! It's really nice there! Although I'm kind of glad that I will probably only have to survive one summer there. It's 37°C something like that + 90% humidity. Even the locals I know are aching (including my fiance, who keeps making fun of me boiling and dying there soon haha).
But I fell in love with the Atlantic right away. I'm 37 and the first time I have ever stood next to an ocean was when I was in Virginia Beach first time last year!
Cried like a river haha (Whiny woman :P ).

Oh, but Houston has a nice humidty as well I guess. It was my POE for the christmas trip and I walked outside to satisfy my vice and was like walking into a wall! In December! :D
