Haha, count me in! :D I have some nice vocabulary and grammar flash cards I got for Gary... And he's not making a very good use of them because he says he learns better with me there teaching him :P

I can't say I'm a good teacher, but always happy to help :)

I actually am a teacher:)

I work for an online language school which is based in Spain, so most of my students are Spanish. I don't really need to speak Spanish in order to teach them English, I just want to learn something new:)

Gary is right, it's more fun to learn by interacting with someone than by flicking through cards:)

We completely understand! I left Ukraine in February and it's been a bittersweet experience since then. On one hand I'm relieved and excited that I've finally found the one that my soul loves and yearns for, but on the other hand, I can't be with her until this annoying bureaucratic process is over. My fiancee and I always say it's like we have been given the greatest gift imaginable and then it's been put it on a shelf just barely out of reach.

Totally agree! 😏

Me and my fiancé saw each other last time if February as well. Feels like 100 years ago. :(

I wrote to my congressman again. I doubt it will help any, but I tried...

Thank you for doing that! The more we annoy them with our complaints, the sooner they will fix the system, at least I hope so:)

I have a combination of heat stroke and high altitude sickness. The last few times I was here the altitude didn't bother me. This time ugh. I still have a headache but it's less today. We just went out for dinner and watched Netflix instead of going to the movies. We are going to go see the new Pirates of the Caribbean today. Chris has only just seen the first one. We are also going to go have an ice cream waffle cone at the Colorado City Creamery in Old Colorado City. Also walk our ice cream off wandering around the cute shops there.

I really hope hope we all get our noa2's soon. This is a view from our apartment in Colorado Springs.

Your bird feeder is so cute, and the view is really nice!

I loved the new Pirates of the Caribbean, hope you enjoy them too.

I have a feeling that broken in this case has nothing to do with a technical issue at all.

I quite agree with that. I personally have to say I've kind of got used to the idea of getting the NOA2 through mail and I'm even seeing the positive: the wait to start calling NVC would be shorter :P

Still they can't be so secretive about how the process works, so thank you very much for your help contacting your congresswoman, for what it's worth :)

Oh, that's cool you are a teacher working with Spanish people :)

What we used to do is I would select words that I figured he could somehow know already, to boost his confidence, and also words that are kind of similar in both languages or just useful for daily life... And we went through them while having dinner together. Haha, he says he misses it now, but I'd dare to say he just misses the teacher :P

Eric received the RFE in the mail today. Missed a box involving criminal record.

I haven't seen it yet, he just texted me.

I'm still wondering how on earth we managed to miss it. Well, at least it's something easy to fix, that's a relief:)

Good its just this, easy to fix and send back! Hoping you'll make it till August! ;)

Hello!  After about two weeks from your NOA2 date you start calling NVC ((603) 334-0700) to see if they have received your case and will give you a case number. Once you have that case number you will be able to track your case to the embassy at this website https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/status.aspx. For the packets you should email the embassy for your fiance to see if that is possible - that would be something that varies from embassy to embassy. I know Peru emails it automatically, but others might not. Good luck with your journey!!

Thank you for the info. I've looked all these things up and understood them several months ago, but now that I'm actually going to start needing the information I couldn't find any of It.

NOA 1 March 2 and not sure if we got approved or what? The USCIS is not working and my partner is out of town. So what should we do?

You'll probably just have to wait until your partner can check the mail since that's the only way people are getting news of their approval at the moment.
