Thank you! :D:D

Omg, I'm so happy. I rather have an RFE than the entire letter lost in the mail! Paid 60$ to express mail my stuff to my fiance, so that'd hurt. Not to speak of the lost time.

So, the notice date is March 22nd, and we also got to CSC! :)

You have no clue how relieved I am now! What a perfect news to start into this sunny day here! :D

When you update your timeline, you should put March 22nd as the NOA1 date then :)

I know what you mean on spending extra money to expedite the shipping. I did the same too and it was worth every penny.

I kinda wish the person who keyed in our details for the NOA1 didn't miss out a letter in my first name. Now I have to worry about the rectification while waiting for the NOA2

Congratulations to everyone who got their NOA1!

Those who haven't yet - I do hope you get them soon.

Anonymous Whiners sounds like a perfect name! :)

It's great to have a company to share your worries with, support each other and talk about dresses (or hoodies;)). I'll probably need both because we are planning a courthouse wedding and a picnic in the park.

Picnic in the park?? :dancing: You guys are so much more fun than me!

Well, we would like to have something more engaging for everyone than just eating and drinking, something that sounds like an activity. We've been even thinking of organising some kind of quest for our guests. Besides, I have 2 kids, they would be bored at most other places.

Ohhh that sounds nice too! :)
For us it's so hard to gather ANYONE together.
My family is spread all over Germany and some are in the US. My friends are literally spread all over Germany and some other European countries.
HIS friends are in Virginia Beach, where we will live, but his family is in Salt Lake City.

So we're screwed! :D

One thought was to go for a beach wedding with a few friends in VA Beach, but since I will maybe arrive in later fall.... it's too chilly and windy. Hehe!
So we kind of made a rough plan about going to SLC, grab his parents and sister and road trip to Vegas and go in the High Roller (biggest giant wheel in the world).

I think that will be cool! :)

Yeah, I'm very glad for your guys and girls company as well! :):):)

Timeline question!

We got the NOA1 letter from CSC. Actually we "belong" to TSC.
Should I put TSC as service center, and transferred to CSC or do I put CSC as service center right away?

You should put CSC :) Transfer only happens if you were already assigned to TSC and TSC transfers it to CSC after they have received it and are too backlogged to adjudicate more petitions.

GA belongs to TSC too but like all other current petitions, we are all assigned to CSC.

As far as I know, all I-129s are being processed in CSC now. The Texas lockbox is just a sorting facility or something like that.

Your plans are really cool, I'm sure you'll have a lot of fun!:)

My friends from Ukraine won't be able to come (difficult to get a visa and too expensive to fly), so I will have some farewell party here.

@TearsOfBabylon and @Eric&Olya Just fyi, Texas lockbox is completely different than the Texas Service Center :) Texas lockbox is for us to mail in our petition and that's where all the sorting and scanning of documents as well as generating of NOA1 happen. Texas lockbox also forward petitions to all the service centers such as CSC, TSC and VSC.
