I read a lot of horror stories on here, I'm going slowly crazy

Are you sure you're not already a little crazy? :jest::jest: Joking!

But truly, I get scared everytime I read someone's refusal. It's crazy that our fate is in another person's hands and they are gonna make or break our relationship.

For my I-129F, K-1, AOS, EAD, AP and ROC detailed timelines, please refer to my timeline page :)

ROC filed on December 1, 2020, assigned to SRC, approved within 106 days on February 18, 2021.

We're on Day 83 and patiently waiting. But hoping for a miracle to have NOA2 before Day 90. I hope the USCIS gods will pour us our much awaited NOA2s next week!!!

I think they are working their magic :D I hope to read your good news!

Yeah, can you imagine going through all this process, fiancee selling everything they own including the place they live, saying bye to family members, getting a one-way ticket to the USA and then the rent-a-cop at the airport giving a quick talk-to-the-hand? That shouldn't even be allowed.

Nope, I would like to think that this is only the case when absolutely necessary though... like a good crazy reason would be given for it and not just a because kind of reason.

Me too!!! I dread interviews! Not because I'm lying or anything but it's like being interrogated by a bad cop sort of thing.

@Estabaliz, I am right there with you when you mentioned the estimated date moving so far back... mine used to be the first part of July and now it has moved to middle and late mid July. Hopefully once our packets leave the US and get to the embassy things will be much quicker and make up for some of the extra wait time =)

Oh my last 2 tourist visa interviews were basically interrogations. The former I was also accused of many illegal things that I never thought of doing and of course was rejected. The latter I was treated poorly but received the 10-year visa.

Don't worry about the estimated dates because ours were pushed further and further. However, we got adjudicated and given NOA2 earlier :)

Luckily in the UK, the interview is simply walking up to a glass window and answering a few easy questions. For the longest time, I had this image of my fiancee sitting in a room the size of a football stadium, her in the very center, huge spotlights on her with an interrogator fifty yards away at a large desk, lie detector hooked up and questions being yelled at her. :D:D

The embassy in Malaysia is not as easy as the Philippines and UK regardless of visa types. But hey, I'll just have to do my best :)
