Haha...that makes me feel so much better! I did the same with all of my docs too.  Surprisingly, I somehow resisted the urge to send USCIS a super pretty, insanely organized and labeled binder and instead just sent them organized sections of papers clipped together. I figured if they're just going to take it apart then I figured why bother. I seriously fell behind in my classes at school already because I was so obsessed with getting this petition done, the last thing I needed was something to add more time. Lol. :P

I had the same idea about making it all pretty but I was afraid that's gonna pissed off the person who scans our documents and the officer who adjudicates our case. That's when I just threw all my ideas out the window and get it all basic and organised. I found it very hard to concentrate on work when I was working our package. I had to stay back at work quite often at that time

For my I-129F, K-1, AOS, EAD, AP and ROC detailed timelines, please refer to my timeline page :)

ROC filed on December 1, 2020, assigned to SRC, approved within 106 days on February 18, 2021.

My sincerest gratitude to all VJers, especially the late geowrian.

Yellow Converse would be fun yet comfortable! Have you ordered a pair?

Not yet! My partner is visiting in the summer and I'm thinking we could go shopping together then, since my thoughts were that both of us could wear yellow converse! Also, I want to talk through more wedding ideas and plans with him before I go ahead on the color choice, though I'm pretty set on the idea of converse for both of us. I'm sure he'll be all for it.

I support your idea, for real! :D Since we are only doing a court wedding, I pretty much have the hair accessory, dress and shoes all ready. We just need to get my fiance's suit and a pair of nice shoes to go with it.

Although we aren't doing anything major, I'm looking forward to hear about everyone else's wedding plans!! I've always loved weddings

@KozmicBlues @KULtoATL I was totally the same re: wanting a pretty packet! Instead I made the most incredibly organized packet possible with super neatly paper clipped smaller sections and binder clips of various sizes to hold larger sections. I'm sure they'll just take it all apart immediately and it'll never be perfectly clipped together again XD But it felt so professional and official when I sent it.

Yes, they are indeed taking our submissions apart when it arrives at the Dallas lockbox facility and Lewisville mailroom. They will reorganize everything for scanning and place the documents into their own generic folders before adding them to their mountains of petitions until an officer grabs our files  It sounds like a robot manufacturing line.

Change of subject and maybe not even allowed here, but do any of you petitioners send flowers to your beneficiary? If so who do you buy them through? I send flowers and chocolate every 2 weeks or so and the place I buy them from has only so many options for arrangements. I've bought most of them so I was wanting to find another place for something different.

My fiance does send me flowers. He orders them from a local (my local, that is) florist who only creates one bouquet design each day to keep things fresh and cheap (from the bulk flower purchase, that's why!) :D Let me look around to see if I can hunt down some online florists that you can use.

Thank you!

I guess I should have put that in the post. I've always used daflores. I've had really good luck with them as the flowers arrive to her work by 11 a.m. most days and look pretty close to what they advertise. I was hoping someone here has had some experience with one of the places you mentioned.

Not sure if they have a El Salvador subforum in the regional forum section. Might have better luck with El Salvador related things there :)

Not to worry :) Was just suggesting it because I don't think I've seen other posters with beneficiary from El Salvador in this thread so response specifically related to El Salvador might be hard to come by.

Did you figure out which new florist you might try using?

LOL thank you!! Yup I sent on the 20th and it got there on the 21st. I sent it through UPS, which cost like $10.50 but at least I got a tracking number on it so it was worth it.

I'm actually in Houston, TX. But, I heard Utah is really, really nice! Is that where you'll be living when you get to the US?

No, we will be in Virginia Beach for one year more, then move to whereever! But it's his hometown, and I've been there twice and liked it a lot. His family moved to Utah, and I liked it there as well! :)

I think I found out why the money order doesn't show anything. You have to pay additional for tracking ability. What the heck? :D

Welcome to all new members here at the Anonymous Whiners! :)
Good luck for your packs being delivered quickly! :)

Off to work now; it's early in Germany! :)
