So my fiancé just called NVC again as per the previous officer's advice from a few days ago. Unfortunately, we haven't been assigned a case number :jest: So if your NOA2 is the same as ours on 6/3, you might wanna save the hassle from calling today. We will be trying again next week and I'll keep everyone posted here.

That's the airport I fly out of (I live in Delaware so it's my closest airport). It's quick and easy to get through for both arrivals and departures. I never have to arrive 2 hours prior to departure when I go to visit my fiancé. Their TSA is on point!!!!! I LOVEEEEEEEEEEE their customs and immigration. For as many times as I've traveled to see my fiancé, they never put me through the scrutiny like JFK. I HATE JFK....LOATHED JFK....CAN I SAY IT AGAIN....I HATE JFK!!!!!!!

 

I was born in NY, and my grandmother lives an exit off from JFK which is the ONLY THING I like about it because I can leave my car at her house,  and take the tram to the airport. But their customs and immigration SUCKS!!!! The last time I traveled through that airport was this past March for my annual Girls/Mother & Daughter trip to/from St. Maarten. They treated me like I was Carmen Santiago or the Queen Pin of Caribbean! The year before last, they red flagged my mom because she has too many passport stamps and asked her how much does she make in salary because of the amount of stamps she has, they wanted to know if she made enough money to avoid all these trips (My family and I are very frequent travelers).

I think I might be about to make a very stupid question, but how can your NOA2 date be June 3rd if that was a Saturday? 😶

The thing is that Eric is coming here in August, and we were hoping to go to the interview together. It might still be possible if we are lucky but now I can't count on that.

It's not at all a stupid question. I was literally asking the same question too when my fiancé showed me a picture of the NOA2 :jest: I asked him if USCIS officers actually work on Saturdays.

Feeling so sad.  My fiance flew back home yesterday after a 10 day visit :(  I'm more eager than ever to have him here permanently but I know we'll be receiving an RFE.  I'm so bummed at the prospect of a delay rather than an approval.
