Good morning, good afternoon and good evening to all my fellow March filers!! Congratulations to all who just received their NOA2s and to those with RFEs, try to send your responses back a.s.a.p :)

I hope we'll hear more NOA2 news today  Keep us updated!!

Good almost-afternoon from Germany! :)

Seems there haven't been any more NOA2's - at least not reported on here. Meh.
And my timeline expanded AND moved a day in the bad way.
Still hoping it's because people don't friggin update their timelines! :D

As we know, it's all an estimate. So far quite a few of us March filers seemed to have gotten a NOA2 a week earlier. The officers are probably on top of things and trying to get things going as quick as possible. Besides, the data on VJ on include VJers' applications and we've no idea on non-VJers applications. Regardless, I'm very hopeful that your NOA2 is coming very soon (F)

How's the eBay sales going? :D

For my I-129F, K-1, AOS, EAD, AP and ROC detailed timelines, please refer to my timeline page :)

ROC filed on December 1, 2020, assigned to SRC, approved within 106 days on February 18, 2021.

My sincerest gratitude to all VJers, especially the late geowrian.

Btw, my timeline moved more than 3x before we got our approval. It started out being the first week of June then it moved further and further towards the third week. I was kinda getting anxious at that point :jest:

@Trinab80 What's your estimated adjudication date? :)

My timeline moved several times since March. Mostly in the wrong direction, sometimes in the right. All in all it went away from the waiting ME for a week. But it's ok.
Been waiting so long - it doesn't matter anymore. And we're still on track with time.

Ebay.... so annoying haha. I've sold about 100 things yet, mostly clothes. The furniture has to go via something like craigslist.
It's getting a little emptier in here. I've also almost finished packet #4 to ship to Scott. One is on the way already.

Small steps, but continuous ones :)
I'll still be in a freakin hurry once it's time... I know that haha

We are all almost there. 3 months ago it was still a long way but we survived it!!!

I've started giving things away to my colleagues and friends. And I'm gonna start packing some stuff into the suitcases.

So awesome that you're almost done with your Packet 4. I just applied my police certificate a couple of days ago. My other documents are ready except for the medical examination and pending signed documents from my fiancé.

Hey! The G-1145 is only for NOA1's notification. NOA2 gets no email notification from USCIS.

Have your fiance sign up for USPS Informed Delivery. He'll get a scan of his incoming letters for the day on a daily basis :) Only way to tell.

I just got my "informed delivery" notice from the postal service which shows that I'm receiving a letter from USPS today!!!  I'm super excited ... It should be our NOA2! Or maybe an RFE!?

3/15 NOA1 date.  I'm enrolled for email and SMS alerts but received none.  USCIS Website still just shows "received".  When I called USCIS customer service yesterday (to try to find out if they were aware of the apparent website/email issues) they told me that their call center is a subcontractor and they don't have access to anything more than what we can see on the website.

The USCIS system is currently "drunk". It hasn't been showing the latest updates for awhile. My NOA2 didn't update as it should.

If you want specific info about your case, you need to ask for a Tier 2 officer when calling the 1-800 :)

Good luck and keep us posted. It would be great seeing how your estimate was for end of next week. Might they be working faster? :)

My birthday is on August 17th, but I doubt anything will be safe then!
I do hope I'll have gone through the medical by then, and maybe have scheduled an interview!
It still seems so unreal and so far away, but IF we get NOA2 by first week of July then it's still possible to have that timeline and leave in September! <3

A normal roundtrip to ORF is about 950 €. Last year I flew for Christmas, and we booked it very shortly, about 3 weeks before because he didn't get his passport on time, and it would have been 1350,-... but my travel agent miracled around a little and booked me a combo with an "alibi room" for one night in Vegas, so that as a bundle came out to 1050,-! Never been there though, lol.

A girl I know works for an airline and she said it's tricky to follow the advise of everybody to book a roundtrip and just cancel the flight back, because with some bad luck the cancelling fee will make it as expensive as a one way flight would have been. So you gotta look deep in their rules and stuff... I don't know. She said it's a good thing to check with airlines who have NOT been state ones before. So I checked with Condor (Lufthansa daughter) and a one way would be around 600 if I book it now. So if it's less than 1000 in August/September it'll be ok.

Germany has another holiday today... glad I don't have to work. And tmw I took off to visit my mom, and before that I'll go for another shoot of awful visa pics, this time along with a digital version for DS-160.
Does anyone know how many pics are needed after NOA2??

Edit:

@Wilma77 I'm so sorry this happened to your daughter. I hope she's better already... kids can be so mean sometimes :(

@pajobra Have a safe trip, dear! And a great stay - AND hopefully NOA2 in the mailbox in the next days! Hugs!

Thank you for the tip, I hadn't thought much of it, to be honest. So I need to get my facts straight.

Anyway, I'm talking about a 1000€ difference in price with one way and round trips, so I hardly doubt the cancellation fee would be over that <_<
