It has nothing to do with VJ.  And very little to do with the process.  I am just done with him and won't be here updating our situation

Can you file the DS-160 without having a NVC case#?

Dang this medical.. I've got my vaccinations done last year already... all set and ready.
Only thing is the xray. I'll be so happy once that's done.

I use American Airlines 😁 Book online using Skyscanner it's a great site with cheaper flights than going through a travel agent

I always use Google Flights to check the different options, and end up travelling with the One World Alliance (I think that's the name), which is basically Iberia and American Airlines, buying tickets through their website (AA normally).

BTW, I think I'll be getting a round-trip ticket even if not coming back, because that's significantly cheaper.

Also, the Informed Delivery service started to work for us in just a couple of days :)

In my opinion, if you can't handle getting through this with someone then it's probably not a person meant to spend the rest of your life with. This process is minor in comparison to a lifetime of partnership together. Full of challenges and obstacles. As hard and difficult as this process is, I would never even once consider the idea of not moving forward. My opinion may be seen as judgmental and could be wrong in your case, but that's just my opinion. I really and truly wish you the best.

Maybe YOU should have read a bit more.  Then you would have seen it wasn't this process that ended things.   I was simply saying goodbye to people.ive been rooting for and who were doing the same for me.

By the looks of  your puppy pics.  I am older and more experienced then you.   Married. Divorced (not by choice)  kids.   Whole ton of life experience

But I dont want to come off as judgemental...

I usually book online, but have gone through a travel agency a few times in the past. I found the travel agency was convenient because they handled finding the best flights and the one I use is for students so they offer discounted rates and payment plans. BUT when I had to make changes last minute it was a pain to have to go through the travel agent instead of the airline directly. I missed my flight once and the airline made me go through my travel agent to re-book and their fee was higher than the airline's change fee so it was frustrating.

Either way, there's no way to avoid outrageous change fees though. I went directly through United for an upcoming flight in Sept. and just last night I had to pay $300 to change my flight...but it will allow me to have 4 more days with my fiance and to us, that's priceless! haha.

The Dalai Lama, when asked what surprised him most about humanity, answered "Man.... Because he sacrifices his health in order to make money. Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health. And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present; the result being that he does not live in the present or the future; he lives as if he is never going to die, and then dies having never really lived."

Yes, by email and phone. Did you register your email while preparing the I129 form? If not, you can go to the USCIS site and create an account, then register for email and phone notifications. That way you'll be notified about it but you'll still have to wait for the actual document to arrive by mail. Hope this helps
