Hey :-)
Yeah, I'm hoping it will arrive shortly!
Just to see which SC we are getting worked on by.

What does the calculation here say as estimated NOA2 date for March filers? I thought I read June somewhere? Did you say that? I'm lost, haha.

At the moment, it seems to be June. Like us, we sent in early of March so the estimate is early of June for adjudication.

While I know they used to distribute cases among the service centers, it appears that they are currently sending them all to CSC. I guess if CSC is backlogged, that's when CSC will transfer them out.

For my I-129F, K-1, AOS, EAD, AP and ROC detailed timelines, please refer to my timeline page :)

ROC filed on December 1, 2020, assigned to SRC, approved within 106 days on February 18, 2021.

My sincerest gratitude to all VJers, especially the late geowrian.

 Ah, thank you!
If it's June for NOA2... then September would be realistic for the interview, don't you think? :)

Yeah, I saw everybody seems to end at CSC. I wonder where we are going to be processed at, because Virginia actually "belongs" to TSC.
I wish they would finally update the processing times at the official page. Because their data is by January 31st and according to that CSC is working on Oktober 15th, and TSC even worse, on Sept 4th O_O.

GA belongs to TSC too so I was surprised being handed to CSC

As for the interview, probably around August, September or October. But that's only if there's no RFE and other processing delays. Just don't buy your ticket first.

They last updated their processing times on 31 January so whatever you saw on their page is currently off for sure :)

Good to read! That was my "hope plan", to be done with it all Novemberish. The earlier, the better.

No, I'm not gonna cancel or book anything until I have my visa in the passport. I'll tell at work in about a month, so they're prepared, but I won't quit yet.
The only thing that kind of worries me, is that I have a 3 month limit for job quitting (can work that out for sure), but I think also for my apartment. I want to cancel everything  only when I have the visa, but on the other hand I want to leave asap after I got it.

I have just started sorting clothes and stuff, so I can put as much on ebay as possible. That's the only "good" thing on the waiting time.
I'm 37, so I have LOTS of stuff haha
How are you doing the getting rid of household stuff?

The K-1 is valid for 6 months so you'll definitely have enough time to give your 3 months notice when resigning.

I will be giving away all household items and only be bringing 2 large suitcases with me - 1 for clothes and 1 for handbags

On the job front, I'm only required to give a month of notice. I just hope I can have everything sorted and leave by middle of November without having to renew my lease. In the event that I can only fly to GA in December, I'll be crashing at my friend's so that I can get my full lease deposit instead of losing it for breaking a new contract.

Hahaaaaa! I totally get your point with the handbags! For me it's the same with my hoodies. I have a whole closet only full of hoodies, which I collected on concerts and city trips (I'm a chucks&hoodie kind of girl), and they HAVE to come. Also I got tons of signed stuff, like posters and vinyls. Can't leave that behind either. So.... I will be travelling with 1-2 suitcases as well, but I will be followed by (now!) estimated up to 10 parcels. Another like 600$ will be gone... ^^

I've started selling last week, and I'll go on with the small stuff like clothes, dvd's, cd's, books and little kitchen stuff, and will start with the furniture around NOA2.

I hope nothing goes wrong, because I have this horror vision of something going wrong and me sitting here with no things lol

I'll try to be out of here latest a month after getting the visa. My employer will be cooperative, since I will warn them early, I hope that works for my apartment, too. Fortunately I have a good relation with my landlord. I was thinking about getting out here and "seek asylum" at friends or my mom until I leave, to have it done and to save rent money, but again... if anything goes wrong I'll be homeless. And it's very hard to find an apartment here.

So many logistics to consider... it's driving me nuts, haha! :)

I feel you. I'm glad that I'm bringing very little with me. In my case I'll only be paying for extra baggage. I looked at freight services and they are not cost efficient since I just don't have enough to fully utilise the space

I'm sure you'll be moving to the US. You've got it all figured out so you're good. You won't be homeless and without anything :)

Welcome newcomers and congrats to all those who got their NOA1!

They cashed my check on Friday, but I'm still waiting for my NOA1. I'm just sitting here like "Y'all have the money, now give me my NOA1!!" :ranting:

Lewisville isn't too far from Houston, I'm sure I could go up to the dock  style and start bugging people!

Me & my fiance talked about the wedding and a few details this weekend, we'll be doing the same thing and having a courthouse wedding and then doing a little party/dinner at my grandmothers. Full on Cuban style with the roasted pig and the fixings LOL. I think we'll wait to do the big wedding once we've settled down here and are able to spend the $$ on a big wedding in Cuba so his family can attend. But, I've already bought my shoes; just waiting a little bit to get my dress. I'm a shoe junkie so that was kind of the most important part of my ensemble :dancing:

I'm a hoodie and sneaker kind of girl too, so it'll be fun to see how long I last in the heels until I change into some Jordan sneakers. Wedding dress and Jordans lol I'm sure they'll have a good laugh with those pictures when we go into AOS.

LOL!! I love it!

I would do it too, but I don't think I can get away with it. My mom would have a fit. I can hear her now... "YOU DID WHAT?!... First you didn't put make-up on to meet your future in-laws but now you want to get married in a hoodie and jeans?!?!?!" I'll never hear the end of it  So I'll do the dress and heels, for like a good 30 minutes (or less hahahaha) and then I'll probably put on some all white Jordans or chucks.. Plus our men have to love us for who we are right?!
