Hi! I know they recently changed the I-129F so I don't think the demographic forms (G-325A) are needed anymore, but I'm pretty sure you still need to include a passport photo of each of you. So make sure to include that. Then also a copy of the US citizen's birth certificate and/or passport or naturalization docs if citizenship was not obtained through birth. Look through the guides on here which have checklists and a sample cover letter which will highlight the required/included docs and that should help a lot!

Okay thank you I really appreciate it!

Seriously...you two are making me very jealous!! I hope you have an amazing time though and I'm sure it will make this whole process much easier to deal with. I'm actually going to visit my fiance also but not until September. Only 82 days to go til I see him. :D And if we don't have our NOA2 by that time then there will be some serious issues!! haha.

@pajobra what city does your fiance live in/where will you be visiting?

My fiance lives in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Its sooo purty there and I love the mountains. I grew up in the flat prairies and I will always be a prairie girl but oh the mountains are neat

Oh that's awesome! I'm sure it's beautiful there!! I've been to Boulder and Denver which I LOVE, but never made it down to Colorado Springs. Hope you have a fantastic time! :)

The Dalai Lama, when asked what surprised him most about humanity, answered "Man.... Because he sacrifices his health in order to make money. Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health. And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present; the result being that he does not live in the present or the future; he lives as if he is never going to die, and then dies having never really lived."

Oh okay so just an original butt certificate then we are a good? So I'm guessing I don't need the G-135a form?

@Bri&Grant: The USC doesn't need a birth certificate if she/he provides a copy of all pages of his/her passport. Check the instructions page you've gotten with the i129F. Things have changed since we here filed ours, so you better stick with the checklist! Good luck for your journey! :)

@Wilma77: I live in Bavaria, close to Nürnberg! :)

Haha you are all communicating so much... we only have our Sunday Facetime for 1-2 hours. During the week we don't call - we both don't like phone calls. But we text all day/night, whenever one is up.
He works kind of a lateshift/nightshift, so he goes to work when I'm done with mine, and I get up for work, once he gets off. Since phones aren't allowed at his job we couldn't even talk if we wanted.
But we're used to it and it's fine :)

A photocopy of every page of the passport works in lieu of a birth certificate as a birth certificate is required to get a passport.

Exactly. My better half has lost his birth certificate somewhere in one of his storing spots whereever in the States (many!!), and used the passport option too!
