Awww hugs. My fiance works 6 of the 9 days I am there but that won't stop me from exploring the city. I noticed on the metro page you could order an 11 x 17 inch colour map of the bus routes so I ordered one to be sent to my fiance's place. :D I am looking forward to getting to know my new home. I also told my fiance I was going to rearrange the furniture while he was at work he said have at it. LOL

Oh, that sounds great :)

I was stuck at home while he was working 8 to 5 for three months, lol. And believe me, no buses really there to go around... not to mention it's really hard to walk around when it's all snowy. Still enjoyed my stay and Jaime made me good company (yep, we adopted a handsome cat in February). Looking forward to be back to my two boys :)

PS: Don't go too crazy rearranging the furniture :P

I have a good friend who is married to a friend of my fiancee. She wanted to have me meet a friend of hers that she claimed is my twin. I thought I would be meeting a friend of hers in Idaho (where they live), but she ended up being Ukrainian. I never would have imagined finding my true love 6000 miles away, but that's what happened, and I couldn't be happier. 😄

Such a lovely and romantic story! Yeah, you look like quite similar, as far as i can see it from your profile picture :) Wish you to reunite as soon as possible!

You two are making me jealous :(

Hope you have a great time nonetheless :P

Seriously...you two are making me very jealous!! I hope you have an amazing time though and I'm sure it will make this whole process much easier to deal with. I'm actually going to visit my fiance also but not until September. Only 82 days to go til I see him. :D And if we don't have our NOA2 by that time then there will be some serious issues!! haha.

@pajobra what city does your fiance live in/where will you be visiting?

The Dalai Lama, when asked what surprised him most about humanity, answered "Man.... Because he sacrifices his health in order to make money. Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health. And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present; the result being that he does not live in the present or the future; he lives as if he is never going to die, and then dies having never really lived."

The NOA2 will actually be sent to the petitioner - so you should be fine there.  For the other items I don't think that will be any issue, might have to clarify at the interview.  But, there was no misinformation since everything was correct when you filed the petition - life happens, things change :)

Yeah that's a good point. I was just worried if they tried to look him up in some background check and ran into issues where the job and physical address abroad didn't match. But you're right, life happens and things change so I can't imagine it would be an issue! He can clarify at the interview if needed. Thank you for handling my venting moment of worry. Haha!! :)

Hi March filers my fiancé and I are getting our finally documents ready to submit form I-129F hopefully at the end of this month. Hope you don't mind joining as we are both only 19 and need as much help as possible. So I just wanted to check with you guys if so far we are missing anything in our package that we are about to send to USCIS.

Package is packed like this so far:

*Cover letter

*Check

*e-notification

*Form I-129F

* Letter of intent to marry

* Letter of in person meeting.

* Followed with evidence such as flight details, photos of us together, photocopy of passports.

we still need to get two passport photo types taken but I can't think of anything else we may be missing if you could let me know if we are that would be great!

Thanks guys.

Hi! I know they recently changed the I-129F so I don't think the demographic forms (G-325A) are needed anymore, but I'm pretty sure you still need to include a passport photo of each of you. So make sure to include that. Then also a copy of the US citizen's birth certificate and/or passport or naturalization docs if citizenship was not obtained through birth. Look through the guides on here which have checklists and a sample cover letter which will highlight the required/included docs and that should help a lot!
