They have cabins in Vegas? Ooh that sounds really, really good! Have you booked anything?

It's really difficult to plan when we don't know when our K-1 would be issued. Court wedding is the best for me and my fiancé :D

I think I came out wrong. I mean the little cabins on the Giant Wheel, like gondola things. Haha now you got me; if cabin is the wrong word for it, then I'm lacking!

Yeah, the other option is court wedding, if he can't get leave. Luckily both options are done quickly!

We are only doing a court wedding :) Simple is our middle name. Thereafter, we either have a little BBQ party for his family or we'll cook for them at his sister's place. We wanna put our money towards a second house.

3 receptions sound like a lot of fun! I've never been to a Vietnamese wedding :)

Simple is good! I don't wanna spend lavishly on our receptions either, it'll be just a little party to spend time and let our friends/family share our joy.

Not transferred but routed, best to correct that on your timeline so you can have a better estimate of when you're getting the noa2. The official processing time is within 5 months or so.

Ohh our petition was "routed" from TSC to CSC too. Would you mind explaining the difference between being transferred vs routed? I saw an option for putting in "Transferred" date in VJ timeline but not sure what that means..Thanks so much!

From what I understand, the Dallas Lockbox where you mail your I-129F is not the same thing as the Texas Service Center (this confused me at first too) – at the lockbox facility, they take in petitions, and then send them (route them) to one of the USCIS service centers. A transfer means your petition was first routed to one of the service centers, but then later sent to another service center for whatever reason.

See this thread for much more detailed info:

K1 Visa

17 Mar 2017:  I-129F Mailed to Lockbox

22 Mar 2017:  I-129F Delivered to Lockbox

23 Mar 2017:  I-129F Picked Up from Lockbox

29 Mar 2017:  NOA1 Notice Date

29 Mar 2017:  NOA1 E-Notification Received via SMS

04 Apr 2017:  NOA1 Hardcopy Received

Gotcha! So in our case our service center is California. I've updated my timeline & signature. Thanks so much for the clarification :)

Hey again! Hope you get yours soon. Kinda stinks that your NOA1 is taking so long. Don't forget to put in an e-Request once you've waited for a month.

Hey :-)
Yeah, I'm hoping it will arrive shortly!
Just to see which SC we are getting worked on by.

What does the calculation here say as estimated NOA2 date for March filers? I thought I read June somewhere? Did you say that? I'm lost, haha.
