Hey everybody! Congrats to all the NOA2s! So my fiancé and I called Disney today and resorts were selling out fast so we decided to book our late November "Disney-moon"! The agent ("cast mate") over the phone made a special note that it would be my fiancée's very first Disney visit and it's also our honeymoon. They said they'll let the resort know to have an extra bit of "magic" set out for us when we get in. How cool is that?! :D

We were actually weary about doing too much before I had my visa in hand but we found out that Disney only asks for a "small" deposit upfront and it's fully refundable if canceled 30 days in advance of check in which we thought is perfect for this situation. So if anyone else here was thinking about Disney, i think it might be a really good fit. Will wait for visa, hopefully by sometime in September, before any plane tickets are bought tho.

Can't wait to be done with the K1 so we all can start moving on with our lives and finally make plans like normal folks. lol

I found this one and there's another blog and it says received date. 😩

Thank you! Yes, you're right.. having a bad headache and your eyes are hurting so much, too, sucks.. Just can't help feeling sad. I already miss my fiancé so much.. We won't see each other until November.. I hope we get the NOA2 Already so I can be with him for good in November. Well, I hope we all get our NOA2s soon! :)) can't wait to see everyone's approval here. So happy to be here, at least i can talk to someone who can relate to me other than my fiancé 😊

Oh, actually that's great information. I was thinking just in terms of our timelines here, but it's good to know received date is what we should use to determine if our case is past the processing time. Hoping not to need to use that piece of advice, but good anyway :)

I'm cross eyed, so when I get a headache that really affects my eyes too  I'm very happy for people getting approvals and I hope it will be your turn too soon. But yeah, feeling a bit sad too... Life keeps being a bit rough lately, so I definitely would love being able to get a hug from my guy anytime. Oh well... Soon.

Disney is awesome! There's really no place like it especially at the right time of year. I've been quite a few times when I was a kid but haven't had a chance to go back in forever so I'm definitely looking forward to it.

We're hoping to check out the Very Merry Christmas Party. Maybe you guys will catch the Halloween Party, heard that's pretty cool too! Gonna try to score some Cirque du du soleil tickets at Disney Springs too since they're closing the show for good at the end of the year.

Hey guys, so I received my letter for RFE. Two of the things are simple. They need a copy of my "long form" birth document or a copy of my pasaporte. Check. I forgot to answer a "yes or no" question. Check.

The thing that has me puzzled is that they want "Circumstances of Meeting". It says "Submit information regarding the circumstances under which you and beneficiary met to establish the relationship. (How were you and beneficiary first introduced?". What all do I need for this part? How long does my statement need to be? What else is required?

Circumstances of Meeting used to be question 34 in the old i-129F form. If you didn't put anything there, then that explains it.

My fiance wrote a 1 page statement explaining both, how we met initially and also circumstances of in person meetings up to filing date and how we decided to get married and why we were pursuing the visa.

I've seen other people saying they explained how they met in just a couple sentences. But definitely you should have put something there.

I also think this part is what causes RFE for some people related to websites like OKCupid being IMBRA or not, so it makes sense they ask?

That sounds like its gonna be amazing! I always liked the idea of a wedding on the beach. The pictures alone would make it a great choice.
