Haha sounds so great! :)
Scott has 12 hour days as well, so I'll have to be stuck with myself until I can try to find a job.
But there's the Ocean (not a beach girl, but I love the Ocean), there's a container ship terminal, I can go to the airplane carriers, I can go to watch the jets start and land at Oceana.... So much to do!

AND... finally I can watch Steve Harvey again lolΒ
Missing the family feud in Germany! :D

Haha I love that show its so much fun! Not working when I finally make it down is going to be weird. I hate to not be busy or working but I will find things to do. :)Β there are lots of great hiking paths to take. I am sure I can find something to occupy my time lol

I've been working through for 10 years without even a sick call.... it will be very awkward, but a part of me will enjoy being lazy for once, and use time to settle, sort the household, explore the area more and learn how to drive lolΒ
Got my license for 20 years now, but that's a whole new level of craziness there lolΒ

I have had my license for 23 years and I can transfer it to a colorado one without retesting YAY since they allow Canadians to do that. They drive so much faster in the states though. Our top road speed is 110kph which is like 65mph lol Everytime I hit a big interstate I am coaxing my poor 1998 Malibu to 125kph or more to match road speed in the states. LOL

I think I only need to do a vision check for the VA licence.

But theirΒ driving... it's insane.Β
You can tell why a drivers licence in Germany takes up to 6 months and costs a fortune. Hehe
I have never seen as many car crashes like on the way from Virginia Beach to DC.... 2,5 hour drive, gazillions of wrecked cars.
My German nature is.... irritated lolΒ
