I've been reading your struggle and actually admire how you are taking it. You have so much patience and humor to share to other filers given your situation. I hope you get your NOA2 this month with us! Welcome to anonymous whiners group! 😊

Thanks. Glad to be here. I hope you get your NOA2 much faster than me :)

Hey Whiners! :)
I'm back from my trip to the other side of Germany. Tough one, because the ride turned out to be 6 hours one way.
I couldn't hold it and of course was crying when I left yesterday, but the family who adopted my Guineas is a really lovely one, and they're in good care for sure.
In the end it was the right decision to not put them on a plane, because I saw how they looked after 6 hours car drive, so I don't want to know their condition after 18 hours travelling.

Congrats to all who got their NOA2 since Friday! :)
We're getting closer... and it's so time for that! :)

EDIT:
I was wondering.... to those who got their NOA2: Did it match with the date/timeframe that was estimated on the VJ timeline? :)

I'm used to far distances, because of all the concerts I went. And to my favorite city in the world - Hamburg - it's 6,5.
But I'm glad I made it now! :D

Haha, you better get used to US distances :P
Oh yeah, can't wait your streetdance!!!

I wonder if the VJ timeline is roughly correct... can't wait to finally have this darn medical behind me. Once that is done - and good - I can finally start looking forward! :)

Yeah, I swear.... since the one in Frankfurt/GER has walk in hours, I'll run there as soon as we have the NVC number. Just to have this xray out of mind.

I think I'll look like a carp once Scott sends me the pic of the letter. haha

Hey @TearsOfBabylon! To answer your question, our NOA2 date (and actual review date) didn't match the VJ estimate for our timeline. Ours was actually earlier by a week.

Sorry to hear that you had parted with your guineas. Hope they are having a good time at their new home (F)

For my I-129F, K-1, AOS, EAD, AP and ROC detailed timelines, please refer to my timeline page :)

ROC filed on December 1, 2020, assigned to SRC, approved within 106 days on February 18, 2021.

My sincerest gratitude to all VJers, especially the late geowrian.

Yeah, for the one in FRA you don't have to make an appointment. Just be there early, or be sorry. But hell yeah I will be early lol

Hey hey! Good to see you again here! :)

THAT was, what I was hoping to hear! :)
So I'm now crossing fingers for Scott and I to have it a week earlier, too. I would be fine with the waiting, but ours is due (according to VJ timeline) right before/on 4th of July. So.... I wouldn't mind to have it a few days before (or the RFE).

Always nice to see familiar faces here :D

Get Scott to check his mailbox a week before the estimated dates ^_^ It might just be there! I'm sure it will come soon.

ETA: Ask Scott to sign up for USPS Informed Delivery. He'll get a scan of letters coming to his mailbox each day.

Oh, I'm bugging him already hahaha :D
He's way too patient. My German nature doesn't let me just wait without grouching about waiting haha

Tell me about it! hahaha

He's looking forward and waiting as well... but he's a laid back waiter... so I flip for both! haha

It's weird. Now I've used all the time since NOA1 to sell stuff and so... and now that NOA2 comes closer, I feel like I still have way too much left.
That really is the good thing of waiting with this visa.... you can get rid of everything in a calm way.

Actually if I didn't tell him to check the mailbox on Friday, the NOA2 would probably still be there and we don't find out till god knows when  :bonk:

I ordered a second suitcase online. Just gotta start packing. Gonna begin the purging too because time flies.

I'm really nervous about the embassy level!!! Have you got most of the documents ready?
