Rough night tonight  I know I haven't been waiting as long as some other people since application was received but this wait is really starting to get to me for some reason  send some good vibes please ❤️ I think we all need them. I was never a patient person but we have been separated by 2500 miles since July last year, we couldn't actually start this process til March and so we've actually been waiting way longer than when we filed and I think my patience is just running thin now. Only been able to visit twice since last July and honestly just starting to feel really depressed about this wait. Blah I'm just venting because I don't think anyone outside of this forum really understands just how challenging this is and I'm sure everyone here does. I don't post that often but I check this every day and read through what's going on. I admire everyone's patience and try to take a little bit of that with me lol.. well have a goodnight/good morning everyone, depending on where you are located in the world right now haha.

Hey! I feel your pain. Good vibes to you and your fiancée.

I do know how hard it is.. my fiancée and I had to wait 2 years to file and we are 10,000 miles apart. He is in the Philippines and I am in the Midwest U.S. I have seen him 4 times in those 2 years. Some days are worse than others for sure. Some days you feel stronger and some you feel like you can't take the pain.. God bless you and your fiancée and I wish you the very best! Stay strong!

What helps me is "This time next year..."

Having some nice little rituals makes LDR more tolerable. For example. we've been having weekly date nights when instead of just talking about different things and watching TV shows like we do everyday we take turns to come up with something more exciting or different to do. Tomorrow is our 2 year anniversary, and we've done so much silly stuff, from origami (which I absolutely hated at 5 am) to drawing our dream house together. When you are looking forward to some day next week, it distracts you a bit from that big waiting game.

I'm sorry to hear that! Hang in there! We've came so far waitingwise already!
Even I start to be bugged about the waiting now. Haven't seen him and the cats since January 2nd... so I'm due to go home, although I'm torn apart because I will leave my life behind.
Soon NOA2 comes, and then there will be light at the end of the tunnel!
I'd even be glad for a RFE, just to see they've touched the case!

I feel you! :)) We all feel the same way. This process is not easy, but we will all get through with this.. Me and my fiancé's been in long distance for 4 years. I'm from the Philippines and he's in Chicago.. we only met twice.. We first met last year. :)) I know it's not easy, it wasn't easy for us to meet first because he doesn't have any resources to come and visit me, it was a long process for us, there were lots of fights and misunderstandings, too many bumpy roads but thank God, because  we were able to overcome everything and we finally met for the first time last year! After 3 long years. :)) and I can say that it was worth the wait! And now, we're patiently waiting for NOA2.. we know it's worth the wait.. :)) Anything worth having is worth waiting for. ❤ 

It'll come soon! Next time, no more distance. Just be patient, have faith, love more and don't lose hope! ❤ hugs for you! 😊

Cool! I'm glad people are using it. I was the solutions architect/lead dev on that project (I deal with the My USPS/Informed Delivery mobile apps now).

It's beyond annoying they haven't fixed the tracker yet after over 3 weeks since it's broken and shows a great deal of incompetence

No, not really.

I will send 5 parcels... that's the plan at least, since it costs 77€ each. Busy packing #4 right now... we'll see if it's enough. That's only clothes, photo albums, my band merch, some plush pets (he gave me), and some little things. And I have to put Scott's cabin trolley in one, since I got my own here and don't want to travel with 3 suitcases.

I was researching a lot about bringing my 2 guinea pigs. We'd have loved to have them over there. Finally found a freight, charging about 1000€ for their transport. Scott would have paid for it, but fortunately I found them a really great Heavy Metal family to go to. They'll move this Friday. 500km through the republic. I don't want to put these little animals on a plane, so I'll leave them with a very heavy heart. 

EDIT: Oh yeah, and I WANTED to take my iMac.
