I've put ours in a folder we here use for job applications.
Since I've read "No staples!!!", and heard about people just putting piles of paper in envelopes I've decided to the middle way. I'm German, so it has to be.... sorted haha.
It's a folder where you just clamp it in. So it's fixed and sorted, but they can take it out easily.

Dancing in the streets :D

I just asked my fiance and he put a clip on it. He just put our itineraries in ours unfortunately no passport stamps because rarely you get one from canada to us. lol Plus I did not have a passport. I drove across the border to visit him using my enhanced drivers license. I have since got my passport because I needed it for this process. LOL

Yeah.. They strictly said no staples. Hahahaha! We did it just what the USCIS want the packet to look like.. That way, it'll be easy to organize.. i was the one who organized it too before sending it to my fiancé. 😂

I can't wait til everyone of us gets the noa2! Let's just all be positive ❤

for now I have to go to sleep.. Long day for me. 😊😊 it's already Monday in the US, so who knows, there's finally an approval in this group today! ❤

I live in a village of 351 people, according to this years census, I think if I danced in the streets the neighbors would think I was crazy. Wait I am crazy hmmm.....ok wait they probably would just call my Mum at work and say why is Becca dancing in the street and she would say she got her NOA2 she is celebrating and then in a matter of minutes the whole bloody village would know. That is the way it works here. A friend of mine went into the ditch before school when I was in high school and by the time she made it to school we all knew. She was like #######! lol

Although surprising a few people still don't know I am engaged. One lady two weeks ago asked me if I was full-time at the library yet. I told her nah but that it didn't matter as I was leaving soon anyway. She said leaving what where are you going. I looked at her with my mouth wide open as did anyone at the restaurant who knew. I said oh I am engaged and I am planning a move to Colorado. She said what when did this happen, how come I did not know. I looked at her and said I just figured everyone knew by now. LOL She sat there stunned and then said oh congratulations and then turned to my Mum and said are you ok with this. GOODNESS everyone asks Mum if she is ok with me moving to the States. Mum answers with her usual "Oh yes, I think its wonderful, All of us should be so lucky to find the one and Becca has!" My family loves Chris and Chris loves them. :)

Did they say anywhere how it exactly has to look? Because except for the "no staples" I found nothing. And everyone seems to do it differently ^^

Yep they don't differ much usually. :D Woot Canada Revenue Agency just paid me my back gst installments since I *cough* filed my 2015 taxes finally with my 2016 taxes. Yes I am a bad girl but anyway a huge chunk of moola just hit my account. So I *cough* finally paid them the money I owed them for 2016 taxes and I am going to go to the bank today to put in my two paycheques and take out some American money for my trip. WOOHOO I am getting so excited. My Boss gave me my employment letter yesterday to show that I was employed as the Assistant Administrator and wanted back June 26th, 2017 for work. :D Although I suspect no trouble when I drive across the border on the 15th. The last time I went to pick my fiance up at the airport in North Dakota I said to them I am picking up my fiance at the Devils Lake airport and the guy said how did you two meet. I said online. He said so you will be back up here in a few hours(it takes 1.25 hours to get to Devils Lake from where I live) I said probably 5 hours or so if the plane is late and we will go out for a late lunch before coming back. He said sounds good and then asked where I work. I said where and he said what do you do. I said I am the Assistant Administrator. He nodded and said Welcome to the States have a good time. Most of the time when I tell them I am an Assistant Administrator at a public library they just nod and I am through. Probably because it sounds like a position I must come back to. I am sure if I had been working my old job as a Sandwich Artist they would have scrutinized me more lol

Haha yeah I brought a letter from my company on the last trip as well. Just to make sure, because there were only 3 months in between. Nobody wanted to see it though.
They asked me what my job is; I said I'm plant managers assistand and half of my job is human resources, so he pitied me and said I do deserve vacation, working in HR. Welcome to the United States.

hehe :)

I finally did tax for last year as well. But I won't get much, maybe 50$ back, but at least it's done. My utility payback is a bit bigger. Looking forward :D

Such a tiny village!

I am going to move from a city of 1.5 mln people to a town of 35,000 (of course, officially it is a city too, but sounds like a town to me:)).

Such places do look charming in movies, but I have no idea what it's like to live in one...

I paid 282 dollars in taxes for 2016 sigh its because I live with my Mum and have no real rent lease to write off on taxes now. I will be paying taxes next year too but ah well. But the Canadian government allows us to claim GST back. So every 4 months I think it is I get a GST cheque from the government of about 103 dollars. But you have to do your taxes to get it. So they owed me a years worth from my 2015 back taxes. If I did not have a group retirement savings plan I would have had to pay in taxes almost 600 bucks. Thank god I had that. I have to decide what to do with it when I get paid out when I leave my job. I should probably throw it back into a new rrsp plan but it will be close to 1300 bucks which would help with starting my new life in the states specially since I can't work. Mind you thats probably only like 950 american darn canadian dollar being so bad compared to american.

Well, I read it somewhere at the USCIS website. :)) plus at the RapidVisa website and someone said that to me, too, that he also read that at the USCIS website. :)) It doesn't matter how we all did the packet as long as we're all going to get approvals.

I have lived in many sized places. I lived way up north in Manitoba in a city of 5000 people for quite a while. I went to college in a city of 60,000. I did a six month internship in the City of Toronto which is 3 million people(that was way way way way too many for this little prairie girl). I also lived in Winnipeg the largest city in Manitoba at 500,000 lol I am moving to a city of almost 500,000 and I am soooo looking forward to more amenities and things to do. My little village is rather boring. LOL
