Well, I have nothing to show:) I don't like social media.

I do have a Facebook account but I've never posted anything, and I'm not even friends with my fiance there. Now I am afraid it might look suspicious...

Don't worry!
So many people aren't using Facebook.
I'm friends there with Scott, and I tag him along every once in a while, but he never reacts. Not even on MY stuff haha.
He's refusing. He'd have signed off FB forever if he wouldn't use the messenger for me.

He's a hermit and actually a carcass of inactivity on social media haha

I'm not worried about that at all!
Some are overpresent, some are opposite...

Thanks love!

I can't lie.. My mom gave me a come to Jesus talk. She was straight up with me and told me to give it time and stop reaching out to see what he'll do. She also told me that I can't wait forever so I need to decide when enough is enough because if not, then I'll be an old maid waiting while he moves on with his life. All things true. & like you said, I can't chase behind a phantom. If he doesn't want to work things out I can't put a gun to his head to make him. I have to be happy in life and if it's not with him I know that God has something better and a lesson was definitely learned from my relationship.

There are times where I'm like "I'll be single forever! Me and my millions of dogs, instead of a cat lady I'll be a dog lady!!" LOL! But I think we all want love in some form and even though we're closed off there's always that hope that someone comes along to love us like we're supposed to be loved, understand us without judgement and not hold our shortcomings against us.

& I'll still be here for all of y'all.. Y'all are stuck with me now!!! MUAHAHAHA :P

Your mom is a wise woman! :)

I mean it's not like you're waiting for him to decide what to wear tonight. It's a life changing decision for both of you, it takes a massive amount of time and even more money... and if one isn't ready, or only half hearted it's better to withdraw, or at least skip the desicion.
But since you said you're not talking to move on... if you'd be one of my girlfriends here I'd say "Stop stalking behind him, move on, let yourself be found by someone who appreciates and loves you with full heart and be happy! Don't waste time, since we're old already..." :)

I know that's said easily, but I think you're on the right way. If things are supposed to be changing, they will by themselves. :)

Oh, glad you're stuck with us! :)

Hello, everyone! I hope someone here is a Christian.. I hope someone can answer my question.. So my fiancé told me he's planning to have our wedding at his grandma's church.. it's a Christian church in California.. We are both not baptized in the same religion, I wonder if I do still have to rebaptized? Just in case anyone of you here has a idea.. He said he will ask her grandma about it next time :3 Problem is we're only going to stay there for less than a week, don't know if we're going to be able to finish everything in less than a week because we have to go back to Chicago where he lives now.. :3 otherwise, I'll just suggest him that we can just get married in a courthouse..

I believe baptism is baptism. There are so many methods of baptism that no one can say there's a right or wrong one. I recommend you do what feels right for you. Myself, I'm holding out for a good ol' fashioned river baptism in the Ozarks (Missouri).

I was baptized Orthodox, but used to go to an episcopalian church, both are the types of Christianity. I didn't have to get re-baptized to go there and participate in the service or church activities. But I think it might depend on whether they're Catholic or not, as I think it's a bit more strict with Catholic church.

You won't have to be re-baptized unless the church demands it as a condition of their pastor marrying you. I don't believe their going to pressure you into being apart of their faith or doing something you're not comfortable with or don't want to do. Usually it's the Catholic church that makes you go to pre-marriage counseling and classes before you can marry in there, but most Christian or non-denominational churches are more lenient on requirements to marry inside their church.

Old yeah... 2 guy friends and I just deassembled my 2 closets and carried them down (I live on 3rd floor with no elevator). Although they did most of the work - I am DEAD lol

No problem - any time! :)
Since I walked through that too I can feel it.

Dang, I have no closets anymore.... sitting in chaos here. Where's NOA2 when you need it? :D

Thanks all for the birthday wishes. It was a nice day. I helped my Mum at the newspaper and then I mowed the lawn in 29C weather. Mum ordered Pizza in and I made a microwave rhubarb crisp. Today its hot again 33C our predicted high. Decided we were not cooking today so I told Mum I would bring home Chinese. She loved that idea. lol

@CubaAndChill Sorry to hear of everything but glad you are sticking with us. :) We would miss you and your Mom sounds very wise indeed.
