I think this whole process is so difficult for us beneficiaries since we're not just dealing with missing a loved one. It's also the uncertainty of where will I be next, when is this going to happen? I don't know if this is the same for everyone else, but I feel like my whole life has been put on pause while I wait for the green light. I can't really do much except for just sitting still. We have so many things to enjoy right now - spending a lot of time with our families at home, as who knows when we'd be able to come back and visit again, if/WHEN this whole thing resolves. But it's just so incredibly hard to enjoy the present when you know you just want to start your new life together. Not a day, or even hour, goes by without me thinking about this.

I feel the same! This waiting game just gives me an anxiety! Sometimes I can't help but to ask myself, "What if we need to wait more than 3 months for the NOA2? What if we don't get approved?". I know a lot of people would think this way and some would say stay positive. And eventhough you make yourself busy at work or with your family cause you know it would be a long time before you get to see them, you still feel like you're not moving and not going anywhere.

I hope everything goes well with everyone! We all prayed for this and God knows what our hearts desire! 🙏🏻❤️

Just left my fiancé at the airport as she goes back home to the USA 😞.

The pain of leaving her is so unbearable 💔,June arrives tomorrow hope us March filers get good news real soon

Awww hang in there! You're not alone! I can still feel that separation anxiety until now. It's so easy to tell someone that it will be ok but I know it's so hard to stay strong when you feel like you've used all your energy from thinking and waiting for this NOA2.

I can say now that NOA2 has been the greatest thing a person could ever have! Lol It's more than winning the lottery! 😂

Just trying to make you smile. 😊

June starts in 2 days!!! 😱

I'm also a Nurse. In what State are you going to? I heard California will require all foreign Nurses to take 1 semester of Med-Surg which I am getting myself prepared for. One of my friends took her 2 years to get in a University as she needed to be on the waiting list! 😱

Oh I didn't know that. When did they start requiring another semester for Med-Surg? And 2 years is too long! I can't imagine myself waiting for that long unless we transfer to a different state. I'm gonna be in Alaska.

Well they said only California has that kind of requirement so you'll be fine since you are going to live in Alaska. 😁

I am still living each day as if I am not leaving but my jobs both give me that security. Although I am stressed. I had an appointment today to renew my birth control prescription(yay she gave me a year of refill so before I leave I will buy out the refills so I can take them with me) and she took my blood pressure and said oh its a bit high have you been stressed lately. I looked at her and said well I work two jobs so I can have extra money because I am currently going through the process of a fiance visa to move to the USA. She said holy cow lots has happened since you were in here last year. LOL So she wants to check my blood pressure again in a month and for me to continue working on losing weight. Sigh that's the hard part. I have not had time to think about losing weight. I eat right but I need more exercise. Luckily on my rare times down I mow the lawn which gives me some. Now if only this rain would stop cause the grass is so long right now.

Yeah. Hopefully Alaska doesn't have to adapt the same requirements as the CA. Are you still working at the hospital?

Yes, people in UK get 7 weeks vacation. I was about to apply for a job there just because of the vacation I can get in UK yearly as opposed to 2 weeks I can get in the US, but my fiancé didn't want me to go there. You are so lucky that you can visit your fiancee without getting a visa. I wish I was in a first world country like you. They make it so hard for us in the third world country. 😭

Isn't it we only have one world? 😂

I get 3 weeks it would have been 4 weeks when I started my 3rd year at the library in July but alas because I am not completing the whole year they are only giving me 5 days vacation. I will use that for my time off to go have my medical and interview. My fiance only gets 2 weeks as well. He is saving his for when he comes to get me here in Canada when I finally move. I am using the last of my vacation days, which I have to use by the end of June, to go see him in 18 days. OMG so excited. I luckily do get lots of banked time though.

I'm willing to sacrifice losing my vacation time if and when I get to move to America 💏

😂 I don't think my fiancé can move to Uk as I don't earn enough money through my job to sponsor her,so decision was made that I'd move there as she clears USA sponsor cap easily 😃

So you mean it's harder to get a visa for fiancé in UK than the US? 😱 I couldn't imagine myself getting through a process that is harder than this! This is the hardest situation I've ever been! Lol 😂
