Yes!!! No more distance!!! No more expensive plane tickets and hotels!!! Lol My fiancé lives in North California. It's like a countryside which tend to be more quiet and peaceful. That's ok though. I'm so tired of living in the city! 😂

Looks like it's going to be a lot of adjustments for me since I've been living in our Province.  😂 Not used in living in the city. Sigh... I hope it's not going to be too hard for me😣

So you are a nurse po.. (Ate nalang po itawag ko di po ako sanay baka mas ahead po kayo sakin. Nagdudugo na ilong ko😹) nosebleed 🤧

Sorry to tell you May has 31 days, so June doesn't arrive till Thursday :)

Hope you are one of those lucky ones that get the NOA2 in the estimated timeline or even before that, because I've seen you having a hard time with this whole process. Hang in there, not much longer!

Aw! We all can sure understand how this feels :( Hang in there! Hopefully at the same time next year we all will be so used to our new lives with our loved ones, that we will be looking back at all of this heartache with a smile.

You've made it through more than 2/3 of the way! (at least for the NOA2 part). So it's all becoming easier each day!

I wish I could just go to sleep for another month and wake up in July LOL

I think this whole process is so difficult for us beneficiaries since we're not just dealing with missing a loved one. It's also the uncertainty of where will I be next, when is this going to happen? I don't know if this is the same for everyone else, but I feel like my whole life has been put on pause while I wait for the green light. I can't really do much except for just sitting still. We have so many things to enjoy right now - spending a lot of time with our families at home, as who knows when we'd be able to come back and visit again, if/WHEN this whole thing resolves. But it's just so incredibly hard to enjoy the present when you know you just want to start your new life together. Not a day, or even hour, goes by without me thinking about this.

Amen to that! I usually tell my fiancé I feel like I'm in limbo :)

I'm also a Nurse. In what State are you going to? I heard California will require all foreign Nurses to take 1 semester of Med-Surg which I am getting myself prepared for. One of my friends took her 2 years to get in a University as she needed to be on the waiting list! 😱
