That does make sense to me!
So I won't send a copy with Pack 3.

But did you see a copy of NOA2 mentioned somewhere?
Cause I'm kind of sure it was written SOMEWHERE that it's required to be sent along with Pack 3.

Seems I'm just burried under an information overload I've read in the last time, to be prepared :D

Haha, that happens. You start to mix everything...

I included a copy of NOA2 on my own checklist and in the documents Gary has to send me, but it's just a kind of backup thing to take with me to the interview if requested. Don't recall seeing that in any Embassy document. It's included though in the VJ list of documents your petitioner has to send you, that might be it.

Yeah I'll just make Scott send me EVERYTHING, so I have a peaceful brain.
Just realized I only need the Affidavit of support, a birth cert and a new (ugly) passport style pic + digital version for the DS-160 and then I'm done! Hooray, what to do with life now? :D

Where in Spain are you located?
Did you start the DS-160 yet?

I did download the checklist for pack 3 from the consulate in Frankfurt/Germany.

They want:

  • my birth certificate (1 original, 1 copy)
  • my criminal records (1 original, 1 copy)
  • Affidavit Of Support
  • Copy of the biographical page of my passport
  • 1 Photo
  • and of course DS-160 filed

There's not even a Copy of NOA2 listed.

Can it really be that easy??

I'd rather take all papers that they might request, just in case. Better to be safe than sorry.

There's no letter of intent mentioned in my checklist either, but it's not so difficult to write, and not expensive to ship, so why not?

I spy on about every thread from previous months here. Well, obviously, since here I am though I'm an April filer :D

For what it seems they are mostly working on February right now, so I think you'll start to get news for March in around 2-3 weeks. Certainly hoping so :)

That feels so far away until I stop to think about when I sent the packet and how much time has passed since that date =)

I just said to my mom today... actually it's soon.
Looking at my countdown app it's already 64 days since our NOA1 came, and 38 until NOA2 if so.
That went by soooo fast!

I didn't start the DS-160. I've forbidden myself to do so at least until we get the NOA2. I'll start taking care of documents my side next month maybe, since I still have quite a long wait. Hoping to have the interview before my American passport picture is out of date (6 months since I took it there in March), but that could be wishful thinking. I need (ugly) pictures anyway for the medical, but at least those can be the regular Spanish size :P

I'm from the Spanish Winterfell.. aka the Spanish Natural Paradise... aka Asturias. We don't have the sunny weather, but we have wonderful food and amazing sceneries :)

So true. It seems like a long wait... and it is. But for now it's going pretty smoothly for me, and that's something indeed, with me being the kind that over worries all the time.

I probably still have myself about two months minimum yet for the waiting... unless I get lucky, which usually doesn't happen. But I'll be very happy when I start seeing you March guys getting your approvals :)

I'm from Bavarian Mordor, that's how I call this city, cause I'm only living here for work. I don't like it. But my homebase is called Darkland ;)

Never heard of your area, sorry. I went to Spain in 2014. Madrid, Barcelona and Pamplona in 3 days for 3 concerts. Was fun! Great food and lovely people! :)

Haha, no worries. But believe me, food is even greater in the North and people is stereotypically less warm that the Southern, but really true-hearted and hospitable (well, I couldn't say otherwise :P).

I've never been in Germany myself
