Yes! The President of the United States meeting with the Russian Ambassador has to be as sinister as it gets. Sounds like the Republicans should put together a half dozen investigations and get to the bottom of this or at least burn a few million dollars on it anyway.

 

This sensational blockbuster seems like it falls in line with Dear Leaders juvenile tweetstorm in the wee hours of this morning. Deflect much?

Of course Obama isn't a Russian agent. That is as absurd as calling Trump one. Hence the reason I started this thread.

Maybe, if Trump could be convinced to release his tax returns, just like every other President for the past couple of decades at least, then perhaps people might be more willing to trust his motives?

  Nobody called Trump a Russian agent. That is not the issue. The fact that you are moving the goalposts to make your argument sound legitimate is a sure sign that your argument wasn't that good to begin with.

Just more whining from the "progressives".  They say there must be an investigation into Trump's ties with the Russians, but completely gloss over the fact that officials in the Obama WH had been spying on the Trump campaign.  I think we should investigate this action as well as on the surface it does smack of 'Watergate'.  In my opinion, investigate away, but make sure we look at all past and current lawmakers and administrative officials as well.

  If they find evidence of that, sure they should investigate. All we have so far is a Trump tweet. Trump has lied so much and made so many baseless accusations that he can not expect the benefit of the doubt ever. Personally, I think one would have to be a moron at this point to accept Trump's claims at face value. We know Trump hate's Politico for making him the 'king of pants on fire', but that does not belie the fact that he is the king of pants on fire.

However as Trump is deeply in debt to Russia, as is Kushner, who knows? Trump tried to outplay Putin, and is now suffering the consequences.  kushner appears to have lost a lot of weight. Ivanka can barely hold her distain. Oh and Trump is borrowing heavily from the Chinese.
