Hi everyone! I am just confused and since this will be my first time to travel to US, I have some questions for clarification. I hope you share your ideas. My airlines for Manila to Kor and Kor to Washington is Asiana Airlines.

My flight will be on April 3, 2017.

Routes:

*Manila - Incheon Korea

*Inchein Korea - Seattle Tacoma Washington

*Seattle Tacoma WA- Missouri

For Korea, I only have 1 hr and 25 minutes layover, would that be enough for transfer?

And on my Port of Entry is in Washington, do I have to claim my baggage and check in again or I will get it on my final destination in Missouri? My airlines for Washington to Missouri is Alaska Airlines

Hope you can share your experience. Thanks alot!

From my layover before in Korea that is cutting it close depending on how busy they are but I think for just international layover you should be fine to make the other flight if you hurry.

And yes, at POE in Seattle after you clear customs you should have to simply get your bag and then drop it back off in a "recheck" area. Least that is my experience in several US airport when returning from overseas. It is not a bad or hard process, just takes a little time; but you shouldn't have to wait long for the bag since you have to go through immigrations first.

Hi Ben&Zian, I would like to ask again.. my flights are on the same reservation but with different airlines, do I need to recheck again when I arrive in Seattle or the airline will transfer my checked in baggage directly to Alaska Airlines? But if I have to recheck, is it all done in South Sattelite? I am very confused with the process coz I read Seattle Airpot or SEATAC has south and north part and different concourses so I have to take a train to get there. ? I hope you have idea about this. Thank you!
