Hello,

My question is i need to travel abroad to my parents and would like to know what is the Maximum that i can stay out of USA. I am on a GC for 10 years  which i got through my citizen spouse while not affecting my application for citizenship/naturalization

The USCIS site says 181 days or six months now what exactly i can avail out of this whole time to be on the safe side and not affect my citizenship/naturalization in any way

Thanks

Without reentry permit 6 months, with reentry permit up to 2 years and I believe it can later be renewed for another 2 years.
