K1-visa letter!

Hello guys hope all had a great day!! I wanna asked something regarding on k1 visa. The I-129f form checklist is giving a sample of letter to intent to marry,, are we going to copy the body of that letter message or  to expand a little bit on that?  And also above it said in the letter petitioner or benificiary's  who write the letter  Or we both need to write each letter of intent to marry?

Welcome. Yes, you both need to write and sign your own letter. You may have the beneficiary scan and email it to you, then you can print it (no need to physically mail it).

 

The one here is just a sample. Feel free to adapt it, but just keep the goal the same - that you are affirming your desire to marry each other in the US within 90 days after entering the US with the K-1 visa.

Exactly as stated above. You both need one.

 

Our's was just simple and to the point "I, your name here, intend to marry, fiances name, within 90 days of arrival into the U.S. on a K-1 visa" ect.. ect...

 

Same with the updated version later on, was basically same outline again.

What is sign mean?  Both me and my petitioner sign off?

You must sign your own name on your letter of intent to marry.

Your fiance must sign their own name on their letter of intent to marry.
