K1 Medical Questions

Hey folks. Long time lurker, first time poster.

 

I have a few questions about the medical. Im a UK National in the UK currently. 

 

Are all approved medical centres for the USA in London or are they scattered across the country?

Can anyone who has had to pay for vaccinations at their medical give an example price for each jab?

Is it just an X-ray to check for tuberculosis and a few questions about drug use?

There is only one place for the medical for the whole of the UK and it's in London.

If you are in the UK, you will need to go to the London, Knightsbridge location.

You'll be asked to fill out paperwork, hand over some required documents, and be taken back for a chest xray, urine test, blood test, answer questions, and have a full physical.

I don't recall the cost of the vaccinations at the medical but iirc they are very expensive, and at times may seem reluctant to want to give them out (with false information). This is why we recommend to get the vaccinations completed by your GP or a pharmacy at a much cheaper cost before going to Knightsbridge (make sure to bring proof). If you study the link to the thread above that the other poster gave you, it will provide you with a lot more information. And I'd also explore these threads for further details. Do not leave the building until you are given a properly completed DS3025.
