My Wife (green card) and father want her deported

My name is Yuriy, and i have a situation here. my wife came to usa with k-1 visa as fiance. We married and everything. enjoying our live but my parents that live in usa dont like our relationship and etc. few weeks ago we almost divorced with my wife because she could not take my family no more but after a talk to my family , told them to leave us alone. my father now saying he will send letter to immigration to deport my wife because "quote quote we having bad relationship" . my question to you what they will do if he sends it? she had a green card already. thx . we love each other me and my wife and she came here with no fraud or anything..

There is nothing your parents can do that will get her deported.

The word "we" in the bolded part is your problem. Your family did not marry your wife, you did. Until you fix that, the problems will continue.

Decide what's more important to you. Your wife or your family. And go from there. Also maybe try to talk to your father about WHY the dislike your wife so much. And address the issue. Unless it a just because she's an immigrant.

Well do you love your wife? Do you want to be with her and have a future with her? Then maybe it's time you put your parents on ice for a while till they understand that you are an adult and you chose your own wife and they need to respect your choices.

thats what i did. i gave him the keys for their house and told them to leave us alone. and since then i dont talk to them. plus after rent contract is done. planning to move in different state

Okay. well don't be nervous about the GC status there is nothing they can do to change her status or get her deported.

As has been said, no matter what your parents do, they can't affect her immigration status. Only the both of you can.

They'll probably laugh at him and throw his letter directly into a shredder.

do not leave your wife alone with them. they could make a false claim of domestic violence. then you are into a big world of hurt trying to get it cleared.

You're reading it wrong. She is the immigrant.
