My petition got approved and I am waiting.

1.How long do I need to wait?

2.Does the processing time increased or decreased now?

3.Does the presidential new rules affect the processing?

4.Is it possible to apply for visitor Visa to visit my husband?

Hi,

For a spouse of a permanent resident the process can take 2 years so you still have some waiting to do. If there is any delays it is usually do to RFEs or extensive background checks. There no decreasing the time. Yes you can apply for a visitor visa and visit your husband while you wait. Although, it is usually difficult to obtain for relatives with current petitions. But you can try

As for you last question, it is visa fraud to come on a visitor visa with plans to stay and adjust. This is one of the very reason why it is difficult for relatives that have current petitions to get visitor visas. Because immigration don't want the immigrant to abuse the visitor visa by trying to "skip ahead" the process.

Your best course of action is to try for a visitor visa and if approved... great. Come and visit him without intending to stay and adjust. If not, then continue to wait and have your husband visit you in India.
