Dear all:
    The Medical examination center ask everyone who had TB record before must need a sputum culture
     I will get the sputum culture result in 1~2 weeks I think. I have no any symptoms.
     My fiance's income is ok, I just worried if the visa officer will be deny my visa by my health.

    I was born in Dec.1986, 30 years old now, had TB and Syphilis before, both cured.
    1. I had TB in 2002, about 14 years ago, got meds treatment 9months and cured;
    2. I had Syphilis in about 2008, cured, the Syphilis antibody still positive, doctor said no contagious and no need treatment;
    3. I found i was HIV positive in about Oct.2012 and take meds treatment until now, virus no detectable in my blood now.

   base on my health history, I worried a lot about if they deny my visa everyday, living in anxiety.
   what i can do before the interview
   Thank you so much!!!

Generally, the purpose of the medical is to ensure that there are no contagious diseases and to ensure that the beneficiary will be able to obtain sufficient medical treatment while in the US. Assuming your samples come back OK, the past illnesses should not matter. HIV is no longer a reason for denial, but the CO may take the cost of treatment into account when determining the petitioner's financial ability to support you. US healthcare is crazy expensive. But the medical conditions you've noted should not affect your application.
