Does anyone have info on how long cases are put under adminstrative processing after approval. It has been a month since my husband had his interview and was approved but his status still says AP. I know they are doing this to everyone now, even if they are approved but does anyone know how long after interview its taking visas to be issued to men?

My sisters husband been under administrative processing from may 5 and he's still waiting there

If a husband is there with a family member like his wife or kids it's much faster but if he's there alone it takes some time. My cousin and her husband waited a month and a half for his visa. Inshallah this will all end and they can come in much faster

I just left our congressman office and she told us some news that I wish was untrue. She told us since my sister's husband case is under AP, his case is affected by the travel ban and has to wait 120 days, I told her that it didn't count for a bonafide relationship to a relative and she said yes it does only if there is a medical health concern like a "death or need" that the bonafide relative is granted a visa.

Does anyone know anyone that receive a visa after June 29 when the travel ban went into effect.

Thats not true. It would contradict what the NVC has on its website. Immediate relatives are not affected by the ban. I really hope your sisters husband gets his visa this week! 2 months of AP is a very long time! What is new with your case?!

I don't think it's true either. The congressman assistant said she would still contact Djibouti and NVC to see what is going on with the case. I hope she doesn't know what she's saying I'm about to contact the senator next inshallah. I also asked for my husbands case and she said USCIS is still gonna process it and I told her it's been over 9 months since I sent in the petition l-130 and she told me that she was gonna write to uscis to see what is taking so long.
