Income question

Can you go to a local tax office for advice on this? (I know calling doesn't get you to an actual person, lol) Or maybe ask a tax preparer for advice. That's what I'd do. Unless someone here on VJ will turn up with specific knowledge/experience.

I will try to figure it out somehow. Maybe saying that this is a permanent contract between employer and my husband? Instead of permanent position.. 

and from what I know she issues 1099-misc to all her 'employers' , no one got w2

Yea, but from his job description and the criteria of an employee, he's an employee. I have no idea if you can even do that.

Perhaps add "..working as a XXXXXX at <company name> under an ongoing, permanent contract" and then combine that with a contract statement from the company? Still have payment/compensation per hour and amount of hrs etc included ofc.

That seems like a good idea! Thank you so so much for your help!

should I include in the new employer letter, that he makes any particular amount per hour, since he is not an employee now and it's a contact? Or maybe would it be better to say that he makes around let's say, $600 monthly and Is being paid on monthly basis , and then convert it into annual income?

I think still include hourly compensation since that's the basis of payment. Just my opinion. And maybe don't call it employment letter

Any idea how should I call it for cover letter purposes ?

Contract verification letter? Self employment income verification letter? ?

Non employee income verification letter?
