You fill out the form and include proof of income; paystubs are good, and a letter from the employer stating the job is long term and stable, and of course 3 years of tax returns.

Bring it with you to interview.

thank you for the reply

as far as I understand the I-134 form should be signed and accompagned with the above mentioned documents and sent to the beneficiary fiancee to take it with him to the interview, right?

is it obligatory to include a 3 years tax returns?

what if the petitoner was unemployed the time filling the petition and then find a new job after the I-129 f is approved?

the pay stubs should be of the current year or of previous years?

in case of a co-sponsor how things work?

thank you so much and I hope you can answer me

Hi, I would like to know as well if 3 years of tax returns is mandatory? My fiancé just left school and got a job since March 2016. Will we need a co sponsor? Thanks!!

The updated form is different from the older version and I cant find any information either.  I am also researching into this step and from what I see.. the USCIS instructions for filing form I-134 does not ask for tax returns.. So I am wondering why many people are including them? I thought maybe the tax returns were necessary after for form I-864

I am also curious about having a co-sponsor --both sponsors just fill out a form each --correct?

The instructions state to include:

Quote

Submit in duplicate evidence of income and resources, as appropriate:

A. Statement from an officer of the bank or other financial institutions with deposits, identifying the following details regarding the account:

(1) Date account opened;

(2) Total amount deposited for the past year; and

(3) Present balance.

B. Statement(s) from your employer on business stationery showing:

(1) Date and nature of employment;

(2) Salary paid; and

(3) Whether the position is temporary or permanent.

C. If self-employed: (1) Copy of last income tax return filed; or (2) Report of commercial rating concern. D. List containing serial numbers and denominations of bonds and name of record owner(s).
