He said he did not communicate with the Russians in the same sentence he talked about being a campaign surrogate. The two subjects are clearly tied together by Sessions in his statement. I hope they try to go after him for perjury and show everyone how mentally ill they are.

Let's say they are tapping him. They could very well be, or it could be deluded paranoia. It's delicious to think about the ear-hell agents would have to endure every day listening in.... but you have to go through FISA first with probable cause I would assume. Hillary didn't have contact with the Russians, and they didn't help elect her president, but you bring an interesting point. Imagine that Hillary was the president, and that there was evidence suggesting that Putin helped elect her. Also imagine for a second that most members of her cabinet had been colluding with Russian "diplomats" during the campaign. See how easy it is to understand the gravity of the matter when the perjury is on the other foot?

I hope the Democrats do go after him for perjury and try to impeach Trump. They will make themselves look like total fools. Mid term elections are coming and maybe they will lose more elections after the record loses for the Democrats in the last election. As the saying goes don't interrupt your enemy when they are making a mistake. Please democrats.  Try to impeach Trump.

 

He lied and committed perjury. You are mixing things. That Sessions committed perjury does not make Trump impeachable. This it not Russia yet, no matter how much Washington is beginning to resemble Moscow.

Actually I am not mixing anything. My reference to impeaching Trump has nothing to do with the Sessions non issue. I brought it up because some democrats want to impeach him. How ma you times do we have to go through this? Sessions didn't lie about anything. He answered a question in regards to the election. Some people here have an issue understanding English and the structure of a sentence.
