Sessions met with Russian envoy twice last year, encounters he later did not disclose

This is a lot of whining about nothing. There are public records that Sessions met with Russians in his capacity as senator. He was being asked if he met with the Russians in connection with Trump's presidential campaign and he truthfully answered no. The left needs to stop complaining about non issues and telling us how much they hate Trump (trust me we get it already) and start doing their job and represent their constituents. There are serious issues we need to address as a country and we don't have time for this childish nonsense. Put your hatred for Trump behind you and do something besides whining. I'm not even saying go along with everything Trump wants to do but at least propose your own solutions to the issues we face instead of spending all your time telling us how evil Trump and everyone associated with him are.

Go back and check the context of the questions.  It was useless of Senator Franken to ask if he talked to foreign ambassadors as I think it is clear he has, the question was regarding talking to the Russian ambassador about the campaign which he didn't.  Why would Senator Sessions say he didn't talk to a foreign ambassador in general.  Since no one questioned him further, I think everyone there understood the context of the question.

 

Keep digging, but at least Sessions has more ethics than former AG Lynch, at least he publicly recused himself from the farscical investigation into the Russians possible hacking of a private organization.  Former AG Lynch did no such thing after her little clandestine meeting with former Presient Bill Clinton.

   Sessions said under oath that he 'did not have contact with the Russians'. Regardless of the context, the best you can spin it is he misspoke, and at worst he perjured himself.

Then why didn't Senator Franken raise an issue then?  He certainly knew that Senator Sessions met with foreign intelligence agents in Washington and around the world including the Russians.  As they say, this is a Red Herring and a lot more blathering from the Leftist "progressives".

so much spin for such a simple question. a question sessions anticipated and decided his approach in response. did lynch lie about 'meeting' with bill? sessions is garbage, he recused because he had no choice.

She couldn't deny it because she was caught.  It would have been denial denial denial if it was just innuendoe.  

 

Sessions understood the question just like everyone else in the room did including Senator Franken.  Senator Franken could have come out the next day after verifying with Sessions secretary that he indeed met with the Russian Ambassador based on his official calendar.

 

Keep trying.

recuse herself from what? there's no comparison. honestly, i like chatting with you but i don't see the point if youre not willing to objectively look at what's going on. i dont understand why you say "keep trying" to me like this is all dems trying to find something, anything on the righteous donald. reasonable thinking people understand why an investigation needs to take place, and it's not just over one franken question to sessions.

Hate, evil, hatred, and whining. These are all subjective words, and in an alternate facts world they might be able to justify burying your head in the sand.

 

The case with Sessions is that he seems to have committed perjury, which you will have to agree is not something that goes well with the his position as DA. You can love him all you want, and drool over the so-called president's plans, but in factual reality, as opposed to alternative factual reality, the deed still remained he may have perjured himself.

 

Just divest yourself from the cult of adoration for Tump and his cabinet members, you might be able to see through the smoke screen that much more clearly.
