How many joint bank account statements did you send? They show continuity, I would send all you had and the ones you got after filing. As long as your marriage is legit and obviously is you have nothing to worry about!

A few I can't remember xD.

Well we are not living with him. My husband used to take care of his grandfather, he passed away in 2012..so the house went to his dad, but we are living in it. But yeah we are going to that for evidence probably one from his dad and mom. Thank you!

yes that 'll help,  I did that because we are living with my parents so both of them did a letter stating that we are living with them they put their name and ID number just in case.

@AnGeLxX 's situation makes me worry now. I didn't have much evidence like insurance or utility bills both of our name were on, and now I'm divorced. I could ask my counselor who I was meeting during the heartbroken process but other than that I can't think of any additional evidence doc... Affidavits are not an option as my ex's family and friends do not know we were married. (he is the USC, and the one who proposed the marriage. I don't get it.) Well, I'm a CSC filer, just need to wait how it will turn out.....

I am in a similar situation, I didn't make any emotional or material commitments here, simply because USCIS might make it hard on me, especially in this political climate! I am ready for any kind of decision, hoping for the best, but preparing for second best lol!

Who knows, maybe I ll be better off back in Europe!

I am a VSC filer and my case should be coming up now. I will keep everyone posted!

So as stated previously, we’re March 2017 filers through VSC. We received notification that our case was transferred to our local office on 2/27/18. Today, hubby (beneficiary) called to get some info. He asked to be transferred to a Tier 2 and they said they couldn’t at that time but we could either arrange for a call to be returned to us and expect that within 5 days or wait about 2 hours and call back. He chose the latter and called back. He was transferred to the Tier 2 and asked the status of his case because of our notification. She starts typing and says “were you asked for additional evidence?” Our hearts skipped a beat on that question, and he said no. After her system updated, she said our case was sent to an officer for review on 2/28/18. We should hear something in about 4 business days and if we don’t hear anything in 10 business days, give them a call back. Hubby then asked if his case was transferred to our local office and she said no, it’s still in Vermont. She said the update we received means it was transferred to another building to the officer’s desk. (Who knew local office meant another building??) 🤷🏻‍♀️

My question to everyone here: have any of you ever been asked about an RFE when calling USCIS for a case status? (not involving a known RFE obviously).

Never spoke to tier 2, but it doesn't mean you are getting an RFE. You are overthinking it! It is probably a routine question this particular person asks after she s been told case was transferred.

That’s what I said to my husband too. We’re not freaking out and I told him that I thought if there were an RFE, she certainly would have addressed it at that time. We’ve just never seen here anyone mentioning being questioned about that during a routine inquiry. We also thought it interesting about the case being transferred to our local office wasn’t transferred after all and it’s still at VSC

Congrats.

So we are both approved.

I'm curious where you found out card was mailed yesterday from?

Everytime I check uscis case status, it says case received from last year even though I got the approval letter last week.
