I dont know if it's a glitch, but I'm a NOV 2017 filer and the same happened to me and MANY others in my thread, all of them happened yesterday 2/27.

I also checked March 2018, and one person reported the same thing -> assigned to local office.

Not sure what it means yet

Not yet,

My biometrics apt is next week but no one else in my thread for Nov 2017 got the Card Produced message that I'm seeing.

Also there is a generic thread for the LOCAL OFFICE now instead of everyone in their monthly thread asking the same question:

Well I called them and they told me that even though I've changed address, moved to a different service center and got that message that mine is still with CSC, and I'm a feb 2017 filer now living in Maryland.

Then he also suggested that it meant I was getting an interview and really didn't sound like he understood the process, so I'm taking everything with a grain of salt right now.

This whole process is ridiculous, we paid $700 just to be kept in the dark like this, plus some of us had lawyer fees and previous expenses, I am talking thousands of dollars just to be treated this poorly. Why does USCIS even have customer service if they can't give any relevant information?!

I just want to be done with them!

GUYS! I'm aproved! Got an email at work today saying my case was updated. My hands start sweating as I open the app on my phone there it was: "New Card Is Being Produced".

It says the the card will be mailed to the address on file. I had updated the address a few months ago and I know I'm just overreacting, but is there a way to find out if they have my address up-to-date?

Also, how is it that some of you guys get that letter snapshot?

What do you mean by the NOA? I never received anything. Online it went from "We have received your application" about a year ago to "New Card Is Being Produced"

What is happening to a lot of applicants the past few days is that using the extension letter case number now show case were transferred to local office, but that number never worked before until only few days ago. Can you check your other number ?
