Case Was Received At My Local Office

On February 27, 2018, we received your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence,

CSC filer - checked by I-797 receipt# and it's been transferred to a local office as of February 25th. Woot woot! Movement!

CSC Filer here as well. My case was moved to a local office on Feb 25th as well. I called in to ask what this whole transfer business meant (even though I read on here that it was to catch up to the backlog). Tier 1 person I spoke to said "Hmmm this is definitely not ordinary - I will have your case escalated to a Tier 2 agent who can give you better answers." I got transferred over but there was a 60 minute wait time so I put in my info for a call back." I'll post my update here once I receive the call back. Happy to see the movement regardless.

I talked to a tier2 but she was vague , she told that my case still in Vermont it wasn't sent to the local office , she made me wait like 3 times on the phone and no lucky, I don't understand what is going on but now at this point  I don't know what to think.

I talked to a Tier 1, would not give me much info because i am the Petitioner and not the applicant (He's at work and guess i can marry him, own a house with him, own a business with him, file for his i130, conditional residence and everything else up until this point but now he has to be present to talk about the case ).. They said my case was transferred to local office and told me what office it was. Nothing more.

Ok so the tier 2 agent called me back. She didn't seem to have to much information either (strange?) I had put in an address change last week - so she confirmed my address has been changed. She could neither confirm nor deny that the reason my case was transferred to a local office was to deal with the backlog at the CSC. Now what she did do is email the CSC asking for a case update on my behalf. She's asked me to look out for an email response to that no later than March 14th. Clearly there is no consistency in the nature of the answers we get but I'm sure we all know that already. I'll post an update when I hear something (if I hear something) Good luck to everyone waiting on approvals!

That’s what they told me also, that it was still at CSC...

Whenever I check my status it says it has been received into my local office though. But USCIS tier 2 says it’s still in California lol, she is like I see it says it’s in your local office, but I can tell you it’s still in CSC 😂
