I-751 March 2017 Filers

My opinion in this hole thing is that things got out of control and they had to come up with this contingency plan until they can catch up with all the processes. Probably more processes than employees?

In a bid to trying to figure out this latest update with transfers, I remember you recently got approved. Just out of curiosity, what does your status say when you check the other number that is giving these updates?

I called USCIS but this representative doesn't want me to transfer to tier2 he said they have a high volume of call...don't know what to do

After looking at the forum, I decided to check the other number - and ours was transferred on 2/24 as well!! is it going to be the same processing or different? Or does this mean RFE and/Interview before approval??

I have an InfoPass early March to extend my GC, if they have the file locally, I hope they can give me some more information

I would have never thought to check the first WAC number listed since the second number has been used exclusively ever since submitting for ROC.

 

Don't forget to add the "other" WAC number to your cases and turn on your mobile/e-mail alerts for the "other" WAC number. Mine was defaulted to NO for both features since I just barely added it to my cases. The other WAC number used to give me an error message so I didn't previously add it.

I am VSC, I checked for you with both numbers one says cased received the other says error. That makes sense as I know mine wasn't transferred as the decision came from Vermont.  So yes its true, they are transferring cases and its NOT a glitch, which is marvelous news!

Aww that is so kind for you to say that.  Amazing news with your approval and amazing news about CSC files being transferred. I was asked to look at my other EAC number and file not found error message. So it's true they are sending files for CSC to the field offices, not sure about Vermont, but I guess Vermont doesnt have such a back log.  Happy Monday everyone and you JeanneSs!

Yeah we have the same result on both of our EAC#s. Case received and an error. Our NOA IS March 30, 2017 at VSC.  Hope all of us waiting find an approval letter or GC in the mail very, very soon!

I am VSC filer, NOA March 6 2017. Just spoke to USCIS, after seing my case was transferred to local office Feb 24th, they confirmed this was correct, but no further information. I get within processing time bullshit! 

I ve seen April filers starting to get their approvals also.

Only certainty about this is that now we know our cases are not forgotten! But does this mean things will speed up? How is our local office equiped to deal with this? If they have more people does that mean more scrutiny per each case, meaning more RFEs and interviews?

Cant jump on the hype train just yet, this is USCIS after all, especially since I am a divorce weavor.

Have to admitt, ever since the attitude towards immigrants worsened with the new president I have my bags ready to leave. Sad but true!

Hi Jack, you are overthinking. Don't you worry everything will be okay. The transfer is not going to hurt anyone indeed it means they are working on it. Since you are a VSC applicant you will hear from them pretty soon. How often do you check your mailbox? Good luck
